For those not keeping up the news in awesome, there's a new project from Mounty Oum (Creator of Dead Fantasy, and Haloid, action choreographer for Seasons 8-10 of Red vs Blue). It's called RWBY (spoken as Ruby). At the end of Season 10 of RvB we got a trailer featuring the first of 4 main characters, Ruby. Just a couple days ago we got the trailer for Weiss. I figured now's as good a time as any to put up a thread.
Unlike RvB, this project will be a Monty controlled production, with Rooster Teeth giving him full reign. Also unlike his previous works, RWBY will be fully voiced and have a story along with the action. Yeah ^_^ and this time it will have a story, which he's working on in conjunction with other's at RT, and my god hte music ^_^
Now Ruby is clearly based on Red Riding Hood, but Weiss is still of some debate. Some people are tryign ot connect her to Snow White, but the more I look into it the more I am thoroughly convinced they're taking her character base from the tale of hte Snow Queen. It explains hte mirror motif, the snow, the idea that Weiss may feel like hte Loneliest of all... it's all there. speaking of which I highly recommend looking into the story before disney butchers it with the upcoming movie.

I'm still patiently waiting for Dead Fantasy to continue. After all, the longer we wait, the better he gets at this kind of thing, and the higher the quality will be!
