deviantART Search Issues

So, I just noticed this yesterday, and I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing.

Whenever I check deviantART, I make sure to check 4 search terms for the newest results: gender transformation, transgender transformation, m2f transformation, and tg transformation. However, for the last two days I've noticed that the results for these terms have drastically decreased. For example, transgender transformation has dropped thousands of results, with the most recent result being from the beginning of September. Heck, m2f transformation only has 9 results!

So, is this just me, or has something happened to deviantART?

Yes, I think there is a problem with the search feature. I couldn't even find my own stories that I'd recently uploaded when I searched specifically for the very tags I'd given them when I made them. Very odd.

I had the same problem (which I made a topic about) about three or so months back; it took a few days before they fixed it last time.

Alright, on the plus side, it's (even if possibly only temporarily) showing new results again. Still not showing everything, though

It might be that there was a problem with their search server(s) and they are re-indexing the entire thing. Considering the number of records DA has, I'm sure that could take days, if not weeks. If it's showing more now than before, just wait.

I've always found DA to be very flaky.
