High voices during shrinking. Yay or nay?

A comment was posted on our fundraiser that reminded me I'd been wondering about this issue for a while. Do you prefer to hear the woman's voice rise in pitch as she shrinks, or no? In my clip store, the pitch-shifted version of "Betty's Cum & Shrink" sold better than the non-shifted version, but that may partially be due to the way I labeled them, or people just not caring.

So what's the preference? Personally I usually like it, but not quite up to the extreme chipmunk-sounding level.

I think I mainly like chipmunk when the shrink is going toward micro. Otherwise stay in the slightly higher range.

the pitch change is only good when done right. i remember a clip with Jane and her voice sounded to distorted by the change it made it really hard to hear what she was saying. I ended up not watching that clip again because of it. a good example a pitch change is in shrinking dreams Clip 3 with Cali Logan that has the best pitch change out of any of the clips I've seen. the part when she is half sized and looks around and says wheres that doctor is soooo cute!!

Yeah, you're right, mt. Ya have to do it right and be subtle. Not make it distract from the shrink, and sound silly. I like silly in the right context but not this one.

I think the way I did the pitch shift in the clip with Betty was pretty good; it starts right when she starts shrinking and slooooooowly goes up the smaller she gets. I was rather proud of that. ^_^

I think I'll probably be doing versions with and without pitch shift when the Freeze Frame video comes out...

hmmm... i have the non pitch shift version. i'll have to pick up the other to see how you did it. i do like it when its done right
