I owe Disney writers an apology

In what is probably one of my favorite episodes of Disney's Aladdin, "Eye of the Beholder" s02e13 one thing that has ALWAYS upset me about this episode was when Jasmine grew spikes and scratched Aladdin. After all snakes are venomous and not poisonous and she would have had to bite him....

however, I just learned about a TRULY scary snake that looks like Jasmine in this episode and it comes from the same region as the Aladdin story.
