George RR Martin Werewolf show POSSIBLE
http://www.nydailynews.com/entertain...icle-1.2393922
Beginning stages. I'm guessing if they think they can attach his name to it and get people to watch it will at least get a season. Eh? And we know it probably won't hold back being A)RR Martin and B) Cinemax. |

Re: George RR Martin Werewolf show POSSIBLE
You know the sad thing is is that we are the most content starved community on the net. Everything is a hint of a possibility or a terrible attempt at developing a satisfactory content. Let's face it. We are fucked. Not even missa or Hahn have quite figured it out. The ONLY way we will ever get what we want is if some talented member of the community creates /develops the production capability to achieve the content we are after.
So depressing. |

Re: George RR Martin Werewolf show POSSIBLE
That is the question. There is another project out there that supposedly could have female werewolves in it, called "In the Lost Lands". I haven't read it, so I cannot say more about it, but Milla Jovovich was involved and some other people.
In the present case, the synopsis of "The Skin Trade" does not indicate anything about female werewolves. Or am I wrong? |

There's a reason why they did things the way they did back then. CGI. Or in that movie's case, lack there of in favor of practical effects. Modern CGI killed any hopes of ANY movie reaching that kind of practical effect any time soon. Thanks to cgi effects are over 9000x cheaper, not to mention quicker to edit and render. In essence it's made Hollywood lazy, and it's showing in horror and scifi movies. As a man who enjoys more practical over the cgi everyone still wonders why I prefer older movies of said genres over the green screen fest movies of today. |

Absolutely correct. I had hoped the brownrigg experiment was going to be that basically. He reached out the community and was on track to deliver then ... Fizzle... Nothing. I wished he at least filmed the transformation scene with the money he had.
