Kagihime Monogatari Eikyuu Alice Rinbukyoku (AP/AR)

I know this is certainly an old OOOOLD find. But since the URL all seem to be dead. I decided to "revive" the thread.

Basically, it's your regular magical girl AP anime with not too expectacular process. To give it some credit, I think it is one of the few animes were the butt gets fitter and tighter instead of bigger. It may be just my imagination, though.

There is also a magical girl that ARs instead, but both her AR and RN are so lazy that makes my process fan tears drop. It would have been a nice, drastic change in the proper hands.

This must happen very briefly in the manga because I can't remember any of them, I do remember it had magic and giant mechs.

If memory serves me right the ones in UFO Princess Valkyrie were way more focused on their transformation, is a shame there was never again a series like that from Kaishaku, I guess something like To Love-Ru would be the closest.

Indeed...it seems as if AP/AR centric animes were a dying trend on Japan. Although it seems to be getting some love recently. And I cannot find the manga everywhere, it is said to have even a villain who can control age/time but my lurking skills are limited at the moment.

The lack and loss of sources was certainly a factor back then for me, and it's even worse now.

I recently found a site that had nearly all the complete sets of magazines, dating back from 2004 to present, it went down yesterday... sigh, I had to do a site dump via cache leftovers to try to get whatever could be salvaged.

I'll see if I can give a look later, the manga is relatively short with just 4 volumes, but like I said I don't remember it having anything substantial, maybe the transformations are just off-screen or just presented as before and after, I do remember thinking that maybe the anime was a different and separated story from the manga.
