Looks like the girl grows in the same way the Boss in Arachnid did, the final volume shows she is sort of ageless and her body just poofs older instead of aging normally.

There is a chart in P.175 detailing different insect branchs, she introduces herself first as Himekuwagata, then as Ookugawata, and finally as Hirata Kuwagata.

The scene setup is extremely similar to the one in Cynthia the Mission.

Any reason as to why her clothes are baggy and shoes too big in the first pic?

I think that's a hint of the progression, it could be she also uses it as extra space for her fake arms, shown in the scene where she pulls the gun, if only her upper clothes were baggy anyone would right away figure she was hiding something.

Interesting. I will keep an eye out for the volume 9 as well. It seems that the manga only has up to volume 3 available for reading online on English manga-reading sites, and therefore torrent sites seem like one of the few options to get the volume 9. That last page seems to show that the volume was released during the winter of 2016, so I guess the file should be emerging soon.

Volumes for this series are released between five to six months away, release date for the ninth volume is slated for 2017-02-26, that is supposing the raws come in due time.
