I have always wondered what speed people like the process to happen at. I imagine its quite different for everyone.

Yes, it is different for everyone. Personally I like very slow growth. I am mostly into GTS and SW, but I feel the same for BE. Though once they reach a certain size. Speeding up is fine, though as long as it's not instant.
