Well just my opinion, but AP is not that common because it is something that naturally happens with time, now AR, Animal TF,TG , shrinking etc... is something that humanity is yet to achieve (or never going to) so it is more appealing to see. Or maybe that is just me since i love fantasy...

Eh, dreaming about being older or flashing forward, time skips, etc, those are not AP. Just like flashbacks are not AR.
