A request for help

Alright, here's the thing, me and Dontino are working together on a BE game, but I'm having trouble locating sprites, here's where you people and your resources come in

1) It must be of a fighting femme, and be able to be used easily
2) If there are other costumes or you wish to enter one of your own characters just post the images
3) Please contribute because it's hard looking for sprites when you've lost your complete link list...

Oh, and if any of you wish to add in the a BE'ed version of the sprite, we'd welcome it and add your name to the crew listings.

If any more info is needed don't be afraid to ask

You're making a BE game?? Sweet! I'm excited to hear what you guys come up with!

I might gather some Chrono Trigger sprites and maybe do some artwork on Marle and Ayla if you would use them- would you want them?

What about sprites from other games like FFT and some of the beat 'em ups?

Also, I am a programmer, too, so let me know if there's extra work I could help with in my very limited spare time. ^_^

Since this was brought to my attention by the technition(Dontino), we also need some music and FX so it doesn't sound bland...

Well, Bob and George have a forum, and I'm sure they have helpful phamplets, but we have plenty spriters as it is, but we need sound-FX makers and Musicians

If you need game sprites, these are the guys to ask where to get them:

Although they mainly use Sonic and Megaman sprites, I've seen some of these guys use thousands of known video game sprites and even those they've made themselves. If you don't know where to get video game sprites your looking for, they'll likely know so you should ask.

I actually have some sprites I manipulated together of one of my characters but unless theres also TG in your game, I dought HE'LL work. But anyways, hope the link helps.

bob and george.... who are they.... and wut the link to that forum... sure you dont need anyone else for the game project but id still like to learn it... nd sound effects and stuff..... never delt with it so i cant help ya there sry -_- so how long do you think it will take to make the game?

Old old internet comic (as much as 'net comics can be old), basically helped found 'sprite' comics on the internet - web comics using video game sprites instead of drawings. The most famous is probably www.nuklearpower.com , aka 8-bit Theater.

The comic has spawned a large community of spinoff comics, and a wide variety of 'custom sprite' artists. If you're looking for more spriting help, you -could- try asking around over there.

I suppose I might give it a try. I have a huge selection of sprites downloaded onto my computer.

But just as a warning. I take my time on these sprites and I just do not have that much time to work on them. I am sure you understand.

I am noticing that the sprites I am editing are going much quicker. I am getting more experience. I might be able to help you with your project.

I probably need more details. Is this a fighting game or what exactly?
