Red Stone MMO Princess/Little Witch class

While poking around for some free MMO's I ran across one called Red Stone. Each class has a transformation ability that allows them to switch to an alternative class with enhanced abilities under certain circumstances. One class, the Princess, can transform into the Little Witch. According to the class description on the official site:

A Princess is able to transform into a Little Witch, going from a small girl to a full-grown adult instantly. Little Witches use strange and unique magic based on light and sound. This lends to the rumors of their interplanetary origins, as the stories say that their magic comes from the power of the stars themselves.

Basically, it's your classic "magical girl" type thing.

The Princess/Little Witch class page can be found here. It's doubtful there's any actual process (I'm still downloading the game so I haven't played it yet) but I thought it worth mentioning here anyway. Especially since many of the classes have transformation abilities such as the mage being able to turn into a werewolf, the priest into a fallen angel and the necromancer into a demon.

Besides that, it's not a bad looking game plus it's free and has very low system requirements.

Nice conceptual art, but sadly the ingame graphics look roughly boring.

Yeah, that's really rough, kinda mid-90's Final Fantasy kinda thing.

I don't know, I guess it depends on what you like in a game. I tend to enjoy old style 2d graphics. I think they look pretty nice. They also look much better when you're playing than they do in screenshots or videos.

I've played it a bit now and it's a fairly standard MMO, though perhaps slightly better in the quest/sory department than some. The form changing mechanic is interesting since there are different circumstances that will allow different classes to change forms, and certain skills will force you into one form or another.

The Princess even gets a few transformation abilities besides the basic ability to turn into the Little Witch. One spell lets her change into a rabbit, which makes her extremely fast. Another turns her into an incredibly huge, fat version of herself which can roll around and squash enemies. Yet another lets her temporarily change herself into a powerful magical sword which can be equipped by other players.

Ah, you got me excited too. But those graphics...bleh. Looks too much like Diablo for me.

Nice find though, and I'm curious at how the whole 'turn into an equippable magic sword' thing works?
