Choose Your Own Adventure Stories
Jeff mentioned one of the those old books and it reminded me of one I dont think anyone has mentioned. In the main character is a space hero of some sort and in part of the stoy encounters 2 scenarios that cause him to reverse age and perhaps die of old age. The first ending comes from when he fights a scorpion-like monster. Its sting cause him to rapidly become younger until, if I recall, he ceases to exist. His memory and perspective also shifted with him.
The other endings involved (of course) a alien princess and a evil overlord. The overlord kept dominion because of a simple looking ray gun. This gun not only gave him immorality, but could regress or age anyone that displeased him. The hero fails in 2 ways during this part. The first being he thinks the gun is a joke and gets blasted, i believe, causing him to die of old age. The second ending causes a fight between the two leaving the overlord a pile of dust, but leaving the hero an infant in the care of the princess (she'll watch him until he can grow up to save the universe). Personally, I loved these old books, and while I appreciated Goosebumps take on them, I prefer the classics. I may one day hunt them all down!

Any idea on the title? Maybe we jog a few memories and find some female Ar as well.
Any book with ar/ap is always good info to have. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choose_...r_Own.22_books |

Oh dear useless trivia, what would I do without you? Oni. PS: Issue 51. The Magic of the Unicorn by Deborah Lerme Goodman had mention of AR too, and ARed a Unicorn, but not much else. |

Here is a lot covers. Maybe seeing them will do the trick. Perhaps something with Space in the title like hyperspace? |

BTW: This should probably be with Shrinking but since it's also one of these types of books......
The Endless Quest Book #5, Revolt of the Dwarves has an awesome shrink illustration in it. The main character gets help from a fairy who shrinks him to a more 'proper' size. The result is an eight inch figure in very oversized clothes. http://www.gamebooks.org/show_item.p...b80e9684f24872 |

speaking of which
There is a shrinking book too. I remember this one very well. "Help! You're Shrinking" was the title http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/se...own-adventure/ Don't think that is it. I find some info on the forgotten planet. http://www.amazon.com/FORGOTTEN-PLAN...926097-4165534 Might it been "War with Evil Power Master" ? Last edited by jeffr_2bya; 06-02-2007 at 09:55 PM. Keep thinking about it and events that happen when you read the book. Maybe you will remember.

Dark Oni, how excellent you are to fully complete my memory! You are correct in many of the things you have said. I actually do believe that it may be the Forgotten Planet one. Oh, and TB, while I love female ar/ap quite a bit, I work with what I can find. Do try and keep a open mind would you? lol
