These are my test results
I recently called in some favors from friends in the medical community, and they agreed to perform some tests (my family and friends without knowledge of the tests the entire time).
This is also posted on my Myspace Blog as well. Height: 6'3 4/5 in. Weight: 284 lbs. Arm Reach: 24 in. Inseam: 31 in. Biceps: 17 in. (Before training) Neck: 22 in. Hat Size: 22 Glove Size: 14/Large Ring Size: 10 Muscle Type: Slate/Straight muscle Sports connected to: Gymnastics/Boxing/Martial Arts/Track & Field Body Fat: 18% Ideal Content: 4-6% Skin: Fair Hair: Wavy/Motley (Main dominant strains of color present) Muscle/Strength Genetic Indicator: Passive Muscle/Incongruent Active Strength Markers present. Note: This means I do not build muscle quite like most people. The fibres of my muscles are in fact layered thicker and tighter than most people. I have to push harder to build it, while known strength builds per increment of exercise. In other words, I build strength faster than muscle in ratio. Blood type: O Negative (I already knew this). Genetic Markers: Resistant to many diseases, like Tuberculosis; Highly Adaptable Histamine System; Allergies: Mushrooms (Consumption: Nausea). Perception Tests: Sight: 20/200+ Note: Legally Blind/ Corrected By Glasses; unknown factors resulting in unusually good Depth Perception. Hearing: Over 30 Hz Cardiovascular tests: Blood Pressure: 87/120 Cholesterol Level: Very Low Blood Pathogens: None Average Body Temperature: 101 Degrees (Claims this is normal) This is just me, mind you. Not Female related at all. I'm just trying to get my life in order, get in shape and what not. I figured I'd share the information, since you guys might have some tips and encouragement for me. So post what you want to say. |

Uh... Eat right and work out?
Use the stairs and not the elevator? Do not do drugs? Cookies are a sometimes treat? ... That is all I got. |

Doing that.
Take the stairs up 15 stories? Uhmm, no. But I try whenever I can. It takes a lot to affect me. I guess it's from an accidental overdose of morphine before my eye surgery when I was 7. It takes a high concentration of the drug (or even alcohol), to effect me, so whenever offered, I decline, seeing as it's unfair to those offering. I don't like cookies. And thanks for the input. To clear something up, the people who did the tests were amazed that the results were for me. When they were told what I look like, they thought they messed up the results, so they did them again, with the results repeating themselves. To say the results were impressive and confusing is an understatement (like the genetic markers for muscle development). ALTHOUGH it is common genetic and medical knowledge that I had an adult bone structure when I was 7, and triple the density today. Anyway, anybody else have tips or info they want to share? |

Are those the blue cookies that they leave in the bathrooms?
Anyway, to provide relevancy, have you set yourself a goal that you'd like to meet? Do you want it to be within a certain time period, or just generally? Those tend to give you a bit more focus and help motivate you toward getting things done. |

Why walk up? Walk down 15 flights of stairs.
Quote:
If your in the US you have probably seen Jared Fogle from subway. Talking about how he used to be fat then ate at subway every day and lost weight. The first commercial probably explained the real reason. He walked from work to the Subway. So walk not because you have to exercise but walk because you have a short destination you have to get to. Unless you have access to a pool then swim. Also I heard that if you do something for 21 days. It becomes a habit. So if you really want to break your routine do something new for three weeks. |

Just huge. My extra weight doesn't hang on me actually. It's just there. I can lose it, no problem. The bulk of my weight is more in my muscle and organs than anything else.
Best way to describe me? As tall as I am wide, but not thick. And one of the people that does the tests has her own nickname for me: Kal El. She gave me that nickname when she first met me. She took one look at my hair (which is blond), and say I had Superman's spit curl (the little loopy bang he has). And she's called me that ever since. Calls me her superhero and everything. Anyway, I plan on losing the weight and sculpting my body over the course of 6-12 months, with definition and tone rather than size. Coupling that with training in various physical skill fields, and development of ostensible physical capability rather than show-y muscle itself. |

The whole bone density thing makes it seem like... you could jump down a mountain and only manage to smash the rocks you hit on the way.
Don't try it. Many people value their mountain scenery. |

Too late for that.
I went mountain climbing once and a hook slipped out, fell maybe 22 feet, then rolled down the slope for a good 40. All I got were a few cuts that healed quickly and a rockslide going in a different direction. Pretty much the same type of thing happened when I went offroading with a friend once. He didn't see the edge of a hill, I did. Tried to warn him, ended up rolling at about 60 MPH. I get thrown from the vehicle, and hit my head on a rock. Here's the funny part: I get up and start giggling loudly, no pain but I am bleeding. Friend gets a broken leg and shoulder, I only get a cut on my forehead. I'm notorious for things like that. |
