Claymore (Manga/Anime)
Anyone follow Claymore manga?
The heroine belongs to a race of engineered hybrid warriors of monstrous man-eating Yoma and humans. The Claymore hybrids have the ability to tap into their Yoma side to aid them as they fight against the creatures. During this they exhibit a progressive transformation. Cat-like eyes, muscle inflation, claws, pointed teeth, and size change. The creature designs are very good, sort of a HR Giger (Aliens / Species) meets Berserk. Plenty of process... The anime recently debuted in Japan with a good does of animated TF's... |

Ah, good series... Though, made the mistake of writing it off as "Berserk Lite" when I first started reading it.
Should be interesting when the voracious eaters get screentime, them having the most drastic transformations of the bunch. |

Manga is up to vol 7 in the US...Vol 8 is out in June.
The anime just came out in Japan this month. Episode 4 premieres tomorrow night...Which should have a good TF scene... I'm sure it'll been Youtubed... Just imagine the fun when Priscilla shows up... Last edited by rick404; 04-23-2007 at 08:54 PM. |

I love the manga, and the anime is sure to be as amazingly drawn as well. Good art all around, so once they start getting into it.........

Error fixed, and, as a side note, it's interesting that the Awakened One is closer to humanity in appearance than when Priscilla was tranforming gradually.

I saw this because of the FMG content in episode 8 - of the anime... it's a pretty fucked up (but then, when isn't anime/manga) but there is a girl to yoma/monster that many may appreciate. Not sexy to me but some people might like it.

It's a pretty good TF, but yeah, pretty fucked up. Not one to watch for the story unless you're into the kind of "Everbody dies" anime.
