Claws... Just some informations for who whant to write tf stories.

Hi!

I know that it could looks weird but I tried something interesting

I used my skils in art and spetial fx to make me fake claws, to feel the difference.

So, here what is spetial about having claws...

Feet

1) First ting is that the claws hit sometimes the ground. The sensation is weird but you get use to it...

2) Some people believe that you can shred your socks and shoes when you get claws and you don't notice it. Well, I can tell you that it is half true : First, it is pretty hard to don't notice that you have claws but when you put your sock and you have to hurry, it is possible. Also, if you don't pay attention when you put on your socks, you DO can shred them, I almost did it. But the shoes part, it is not true.

3) About the shoes, the main problem is that it is less confortable.

4) Strangely, I didn't hurt myself while sleeping. Samething for fingers. In fact, it makes no differnces if you sleep and you have claws.

5) Something else, when I tried to open the dore, I had to et use to the claws of my feet because it hit the dore even if it is only one cm long.


Hands

1) Typping is the biggest adaptation about the hands' claws. You alway touch the wrong character! Lol!

2) Itching is a little bit weird because you can easily hurt yourself

3) Every usual manipulation, like open a bottle, take an object, etc need some adaptation but it pretty easy to get use to it. In fact, it is not really different, i guest, to have longer finger nails.

That all what I noticed.

Even if the main point is not there, but if there is some people interested about making their own claws, tell me and I'll make a tutorial.

In my opinion is not just a matter of getting claws and having the claws break your shoes, the shoes breaking part also comes by your feet changing shape, sometimes werewolves for instance become larger than their human form, the shoes are made to fit your current feet size, if your feet suddently got claws and got larger in general your shoes would cause a great deal of pain to you, if the shoes are made of an easy to break fabric like cloth maybe your feet would break them, that's my opinion. (or at least you would really feel the need to take off your shoes, same goes with the rest of your outfit, getting a body expansion must hurt with cloths on)

I can see how the claws have affected your typing But don't women have the same problems with long fingernails?

I would like to do it! Lol! In fact, I have a project of an animatronic tail that I should be able to controle with my existing muscles, but I can't create the feeling of the tail! Lol!
