Making a Growth Video... Have a Question

Hey all!

Inspired by the fine work that Lorekeep and Mistress Taylor have produced, I've decided to bend my own talents to a growth video. I'm thinking of shooting this weekend.

There's only one problem--given my small budget (as this is my first time and I don't have much to invest) the only actress I'm able to get is not very attractive. At least, not above the neck.

So my question is, should I go ahead and make the video as a proof of concept? Will people still buy a well-made growth video if the star is a 'butterface'?

If the proof of concept video were to do well, I'd have money to put toward more attractive models for future projects (which would probably not be limited to GTS and would hopefully include BE and maybe TG).

I think if you stick to the material a not as pretty model may sell less but you right that it can get you the funds to afford others. also you practice your workflow. Shooting - Editing - Promoting - Selling, Then when you paying bigger bucks for the girls you will have a routine to get your products out and this will be good.

I imagine it's pretty tall an order to find any woman who will do something as weird as the stuff we're into.

Finding a girl who's agreeable to it, AND who's beautiful is a true rarity outside the Porn Industry! Work with what you got for now and keep your fingers crossed for better stuff in the future. Nobody ever painted the perfect picture the first time.

While a pretty face is nice, it's not my main concern by a long shot. If you can put together a good quality process, I'll buy it. Besides, the way you put it says that her body is pretty good. Where would any of us who like this kind of thing be if we didn't have a good imagination? Don't like the face? Think of a different person's and insert when needed.

You could always make a comedy film by putting a bag over her head.

I'd like to see what you can do though. If it rocks, I might be willing to fund better work.

Glasses. Glasses fix everything! Maybe a wig with long hair you can use to cover the face.

Shoot her face from odd angles. See this. The "Asian Honey" pics are night and day.

If you need to show her face, shoot it from far away or out of focus. Or extreme closeup. (Lips, eyes, etc) If her teeth are nasty, keep them lips shut!

I realize your budget is limited, but maybe you can get a 2nd actress who may not have a nice body, but has a great face to stand-in and just do facial/reaction shots. She wouldn't have to strip or anything, just make faces at the camera, so it may be cheaper. (Might have to have them both wear the same wig or something so it looks like they're the same person)

If all else fails and you go with the paper bag... let's see some great paper tearing!
