Stretching

Here is a new short sequence from me. It is always good to stretch before any exercise.
Please enjoy.

Actually, scientists have recently claimed that stretching before exercise can reduce muscle strength by 30%

Nice work though!

Stretching is for reducing the risk on injury... That's why you do it...

And joeman, nice picture, though perhaps accentuating her clothes or coloring it would help emphasis the growth a bit. To be honest I had to look twice to notice the growth... But otherwise it's a fine drawing...

Nice. And as someone else noted, I don't know about this minus 30% muscle growth as I never heard that before but you won't find any serious bodybuilders or powerlifters that don't stretch out first because they don't want to be out of training with muscle pulls.

Re: Stretching

The gym teachers wouldn't believe that, so I don't care. :P

Anyway, this is actually pretty awesome. Usually there's a comparison, but since there isn't any, it actually makes me focus specifically on her.

Way to go, bro!

Re: Stretching

Stretching can reduce one-rep maxes because the tension the muscles add a "bounce" effect when compressed and released. The effect is nowhere near 30%. However, that precisely why people stretch - to unbind the muscles and prevent the "bounce", which can cause injury.
