Wolf In Extra Large Clothing (Mini-GTS, SM)
Here's the beginnings of a new story. As always, I'll try to update as often as possible but no promises.
A Wolf in Extra Large Clothing By Logan73 I met the Wolf family the summer before starting college. I was eighteen years old and thrilled to be out of the festering cesspool that had been high school I remember it was on a Tuesday afternoon when I was feeling especially heady regarding my new freedom, and so reasoned that a leisurely walk around the neighborhood at a time when I would ordinarily have been crammed behind a desk would be especially liberating. Now I should mention that such walks were not a very common activity for me, being rather bookish and not terribly fond of physical exertion, nor of the great outdoors in general, but as I said, this was a special occasion. I had traveled only a few blocks when I was struck suddenly and painfully by football. I was too surprised to really get hung up on the pain, so when I rose to my feet, my first thought was not of the blood rushing from my nose, nor the possibility of a broken bone, but I was concerned rather with the origin of the unexpected projectile. I did not have to wait long for my answer. Before I had time to do more than blink in confusion I felt a hand on my shoulder and a deep voice was asking me if I was alright. ?I?m fine,? I answered, quite calmly I think given the circumstances. My vision was coming back into focus and I could make out the source of the voice. I was a little taken aback by the figure before me. He had long blond hair past his shoulders and appeared to be about my age, but while I stood a respectable, but by no means showy, 5?10? this man was a burly giant of at least 6?4?. His broad face and toothy smile conveyed warmth and friendliness, but under his baggy clothes I could see that he was packing considerable muscle. I had better be nice. He was talking again, so I made an effort to pay attention. ?I?m really sorry, man,? he said. ?I didn?t see you there and it just got away from me. Wow, that is a lot of blood.? I touched my nose gingerly and flinched at the pain, for the first time conscious of my injury. My fingers came away bright red. ?I don?t think it?s broken,? I said tentatively, poking at my wound again for good measure. ?Don?t worry about it. It was an accident, and it doesn?t even hurt that much.? That last was a bit of an exaggeration, but I didn?t want to show weakness in the face of such an imposing stranger. ?Well, why don?t you come inside and get some water on it? You can?t walk around like that. I?m Jim, by the way.? I look up and saw that he was beckoning me towards one in a sea of nondescript, suburban houses that lined the street. As we walked inside, he made no effort to pick up his football from the ground, which I thought was classy. ?I?m Mike,? I replied, still a bit dazed. The interior of the house was not what one would suspect from its quiet suburban lawn. It was very messy, but not in the heavy, cluttered way favored by packrats. It was a kinetic sort of messy, as if the house itself possessed a great deal of energy. It seemed odd to me that such an obviously active dwelling could now be so eerily quiet. These were my thoughts as my host escorted me to the bathroom. A few minutes and one hot washcloth later I was feeling good as new. Jim apologized some more and I assured him that it was nothing, but that I had better be getting home. As I was leaving, I thought I caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of my eye, causing to turn sharply. It was only a shadow and it moved quickly, but I had time enough to get a good look at it. It was definitely a woman?s shadow and it seemed to me (although it could have just been an artifact of the now setting sun) that it was a very long shadow indeed. |

Very well-written, you've got me interested. I especially like the phrase "kinetic sort of messy."

Re: Wolf In Extra Large Clothing (Mini-GTS, SM)
Here's the next bit. We're not to the good stuff yet, but be patient. It's coming.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * I’m not sure what made me go back to that house the next day. It went against my instincts, my temperament and my nose, which somehow managed to hurt even more after a good night’s sleep. However, I guess I found something about the place compelling, because I did go back… again and again. Jim and I quickly became fast friends and before long were spending practically all of our free time together. For the first few days, I thought the shadow I had seen was only a figment of my imagination. I never saw anyone else around the house and I was about to conclude that Jim lived alone, however unlikely that was for a guy his age. Then I met his family. I had come by to see if Jim wanted to go see the new monster movie at the local dollar theater. I knocked on the door, waited a bit, and was about to go ahead and let myself in when I heard the latch click. I looked up and saw, not Jim, but a woman. She was in her late thirties, with bleached blond hair and skin that was slightly too tan. Her skin, however, was not the first thing I focused on. This woman was huge, easily the biggest I had ever seen, and when I say big I don’t mean fat,… I mean tall. In fact, I estimated that she was even taller than Jim, though not by much. She was also model thin with endless legs and a decent bosom (though I suspected there may have been more than a little silicone in there.) “Erm… Hi,” I mumbled, unprepared for this turn of events. “Is Jim home?” “Oh hi! You must be Lars. I’m Jane Wolf, Jim’s mother.” “Nice to meet you,” I said, craning my neck back a little to look her in the eye. “I’m afraid Jim’s not here right now. He’s with his sister, out somewhere., but I’ll be sure to tell him you stopped by.” My ears perked up at the mention of a sister. If she took after the rest of the family, she was bound to be an eyeful. “Oh, okay. Thanks.” “It’s my pleasure, and so nice to have met you!” Call me paranoid, but her smiled seemed a little forced. I didn’t see Jim for a couple of days after that, but when I did, his sister was with him. I won’t lie, I was a little disappointed when I found out she was 13 and about 5’2”. Oh well, you can’t win ‘em all. “Hey man,” Jim greeted me. “Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I’ve been doing a lot of babysitting lately. This is my sister, Jessica.” Jessica turned away, blushing slightly. She seemed simultaneously embarrassed and annoyed by the babysitting comment. Meanwhile, this whole arrangement seemed odd to me. I had been over to Jim’s house dozens of times. Why had I never seen Jessica, or for that matter, their mother, until now? One thing was for sure, this was not a normal family. As I spent more time at the Wolf household, my understanding of the situation gradually increased. Jessica became more and more visible, and after a while even started to tag along after me and her older brother. She seemed very shy, and I reasoned that she had just been staying out of sight until she got used to me. Jane, on the other hand, was almost never around. When I did see her, it was only in fleeting glimpses through half closed doors. On more than one occasion I overheard the muffled sounds of her laughter, mingled with the voices of unidentified men. I got the impression that she was effectively an absentee parent, which explained the frequent babysitting by Jim of his sister. I never broached this subject with Jim, figuring it was probably sensitive territory. Besides, it was really none of my business, at least not at first. I remember the moment when I realized Jessica had a crush on me. There was a large section of undeveloped land a couple of blocks away from his house. Sooner or later, someone was going to build another block of identical houses there, but for now it was mostly woodland. Jim and I had decided to go exploring and see if we could find anything interesting in the area before it was all ripped down. Jessica, as was her custom by now, followed along dutifully. She was a quiet child, rarely speaking in more than monosyllables, but on this particular occasion she was feeling chatty. “What do you think we’ll find in the woods, Lars?” The fact that she addressed me instead of her brother should have been a tip off right there. “I don’t know. Maybe nothing, but we don’t know unless we look.” “But it could be dangerous.” Here Jim chimed in. “Aw, come on, Jessica. It’s not dangerous, it’s just some old trees. Besides, aren’t you tired of hanging around the house? It’s good to get out every once in a while.” This seemed to pacify her for the time being, but she still looked uneasy. We made our way into the woods with no difficulty, and for a long time we saw nothing of interest. There were some discarded beer cans and cigarette butts. Clearly we had not been the first teenagers to come up with this idea. The woods were getting thicker and we found ourselves starting to get cut up by brambles. I was just about to suggest we turn back when we heard a sudden rustling sound and an animal emerged from the bushes. It was only a fox, but Jessica, already on edge, panicked. She screamed, which alarmed the fox, causing him to bolt. This sudden movement made Jessica scream more and before I knew it, she had thrown herself into my arms, pressing her face against my chest. I was bewildered at first, then she looked up at me and I realized what was going on. “Oh no,” I thought. I may have even said it out loud. Such things were invariably disastrous and extremely difficult to deal with in a sensitive fashion. I looked over at Jim, who was wearing an enigmatic expression that could have been either amusement or disapproval. Maybe it was both. This was the first of an ever escalating number of incidents involving me and Jessica. Over time, she became more and more aggressive in her infatuation with me, and soon the shy little girl didn’t seem so shy anymore. The situation came to a head in early August. “Oh Lars,” she cooed, batting her eyelashes in the way that only 1940’s starlets and cartoon characters do. “Do you want to take me swimming? Summer is almost over, and the weather’s perfect.” Jim lounging across the room reading a comic book looked up at me. He didn’t speak, but I could tell what he was thinking. “Dude, end this now.” I sighed heavily and stood up. “Look, Jessica. You’re a great kid and a good sister to Jim, but the two of us just can’t hang out together.” She looked stunned. “What? Why not?” “Because you’re too young. I know how you feel about me, it’s obvious, but come on. You know it’s not going to happen. You should be hanging out with boys your own age.” She turned away from me abruptly, but not before I saw tears welling up in her eyes. “Jessica, listen,” I began, but she ran out of the room before I could finish. I looked helplessly over at Jim again, but he just nodded sympathetically. “Look, I think I’d better take off,” I said, shaken. “It’s cool. Don’t worry about it. She’ll get over it,” he replied. “See you around later?” “Definitely.” I was upset that I had hurt Jessica’s feelings, but it had to be done. There was no way around it. All the same, it would probably be better for me to steer clear of the place for a couple of days and let her cool down. As I was leaving I almost bumped into Jim’s mother, Jane. I hadn’t seen her in weeks and I was surprised that she was there. I guess I had forgotten how big she was, and I was almost knocked off my feet. “Oh!” she exclaimed, seeming flustered. “Hi Lars. Are you leaving?” “Uh…yeah. I have to get home now.” “Oh okay, come back again soon.” She was talking quickly, like she was in a hurry to get rid of me. She rushed inside the house, and I thought I heard the lock click shut behind her. Puzzled, I looked to see where she had come from, and noticed an exterior cellar door, lying somewhat ajar. I had seen the door before, but had never given it much thought. Such basements were common in the area and usually used for storage of old junk and tools. I walked over and gently lifted wooden door, noting a large padlock that had been left open. Immediately I was hit with the smell of incense wafting up from the room below, and this further peeked my curiosity. It was probably one of her little love nests, I thought, disgusted by her negligence towards her family. But, disgust notwithstanding, I had to see what was in there. The room was dark, but I could make out the furnishings. Tapestries and weavings lined the walls and floor. Huge bookcases filled with ancient looking tomes loomed in the rear corners. It was not your typical suburban basement. I caught sight of a faint orange glow and focused my attention on the dying ember of incense that had drawn me here. The smell had a smoky quality but was otherwise unfamiliar to me. Looking around some more, I noticed candles, crystals and strange chalk drawings consisting of geometric patterns on various surfaces. “Wow,” I said to myself. “I never knew she was such a hippy.” One of the books lay open on a table ,and in the faint light I could make out the heading. In dark, Gothic script it read: INCANTATION FOR PHYSICAL AUGMENTATION Underneath that was the line: INCLUDES VARIATIONS FOR INCREASED LIBIDO AND ENHANCED PUBESCENT DEVELOPMENT It was at this point that I decided the woman was obviously insane, and my instincts told me that if I knew what was good for me I would get out of there at once. Such was my haste, that I didn’t notice Jessica watching me from behind a tree. |

Re: Wolf In Extra Large Clothing (Mini-GTS, SM)
as one of the FEW stories i actually take the time to read, i'd say it was pretty good, the only downer is one of semantics in that you spelled "starlettes" incorrectly. otherwise, you are a master with words.

Thank you for all your kind words! I hope to have another update tomorrow evening.
Gobosan: I would refer you to the following link (which incidentally does not recognize "starlette" as a word) http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/starlet |
