Black Tapestries is going to shutdown?

Well, I don't know if anyone on here is keeping up with Jackkal(owner, publisher, writer, artist of Black Tapestries) and her famed comic Black Tapestries(BT) or not, but if you've noticed she hasn't been posting new pages lately and... part of the reason for that is here....

As you can see in her first post of the thread... she's lost inspiration for the comic... it's made many readers such as I very upset that Jackkal has insights of giving up on BT, but we are all trying our best to get her back into the mood. She's come very far with her comic, and would be a shame to see it all go to waste now...

So if you are a fellow supporter of Jackkal/Black Tapestries... then please... reply to the thread in alternationstudios... and if you don't have an account... please do create one and write a reply...

Your forum says I was banned and I've never even visited it before. Maybe they've baned my entire ISP?

Also the pix from the comic website show as blank from my browser.

If Jackkal's lost interest perhaps it is best to conclude the series. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did this with Sherlock Holmes. There is nothing worse than stories where the writers heart just isn't in it.

Perhaps it is best to approacher her about a new series entirely. One where her creativity can be challenged and her interest heightened.

She can always return to the series when the mood strikes.

All good things come to an end.

Anyway the point is that one does an online comic because one is an attention seeker and one wants to be praised to levels that would make gods fell ashamed. And one stops doing an online comic because real life gets in the way…

Yea but that's the thing... it just doesn't seem like an ending with where she's at now... Though it may be an epilogue... it still doesn't seem sufficient.

And I know that she's bombarded with the other comic(s) as well, but this one was her main popularity and focus.

From what I have gathered from a few comics, it's basically the old "Noble furry-style werewolves dealing with unjust humans" spiel.

Not really all that interesting.

Lol, that's Realm of Kaeryn, this is her main comic,Black tapestries. This is the actual story line of Lorelei( main character) mostly furry stuff, though, it has several tfs within it.

Now Muertitos, that's a comic that needs to be praised.

Seems like what comes around goes around.

Several years ago a girl posted about how she'd been the creator and the
gamemaster of a furry RPG universe.Afterwards one of the players went and
created BT.The issue was whether BT was a copywrite violation/unauthorized
use of someone elses idea.The GM figured if BT made any money she wanted a piece of the action.Most of the furry writers told her she should be grateful that her RPG universe birthed BT,and to cease and desist her demands
for recognition and cash.

I'd guess theres at least one GM who now is smirking happily.

I know said GM. She creating the story setting, of which Jakaal's Lorelai was the character. They had a nasty breakup over it -_-

I have been a frequent reader of Black Tapestries.

I felt that the first 6 episodes were top notch.

She really tries to separate herself from being just another comic about furry esque characters in medieval garb.

I was sad finding out that she stopped writing.

I do know that she is involved with a role playing site called Kerriwin, although I haven't visited that place so I am unsure as to its status.

She also created a sister comic to BT called Blood Moon, although the last time I checked, it was stopped at episode 1.

There was a third comic that featured the BT characters in a space setting, but I do not know what happened to that series since I cannot find the link to that comic.

Hopefully Jakall is taking a hiatus and not stopping the comic completely.

That comic was stopped and stripped from existence... She has a new comic as prev. stated called the Realm of Kaerwyn in which Lorelei by some odd random event, gets teleported to another dimension where anything is real and possible, magic, guns, myths, werewolfs, etc. etc. ( had a big debate over the gun thing which I really don't understand)... and though right now the storyline and plot is a bit hazy, it's seems to be one that proves sufficient.
