Yeah Shanta reverts at the end of the episode. Though it is possible she may change again in a later episode.

I like how Shanta is incapable of speaking it gives the feel that she's a animal in a human body. I can't help but notice how this episode shares similarities with Girl's Bravo episode 9. Shouldn't be surprised Haiyore! Nyaruko-san shows many references from other anime.
