Maxgrowth Patreon
Maxgrowth, who has some really wonderful clips up at Taylor Made CLips has put up a Patreon page to raise money to improve the quality of their videos.
I'm a big fan of all their work, and the perks seem reasonably priced for the level of reward you get AND I like the fact that it's a once a month donation and not a PER project charge like many Patreon creators have. So, I know only a set amount is coming out each month. http://www.patreon.com/Maxgrowth http://maxgrowth.deviantart.com/ |

Re: Maxgrowth Patreon
I wish he produced more content similar to the ghost one with Koa, I enjoy that one a lot.
I'd like to see more emphasis on the breasts and the script rather than just the props. I guess that's why I've just resorted to commissions. |

Re: Maxgrowth Patreon
So let me get this straight:
Producer fails to turn enough of a profit with their old business model to expand and improve their products, so Producer starts a *subscription service* and invents this bullshit myth that Producer wants to promote female positive body image instead of Producer creating softcore wank material for Producer's particular fetish. Producer promises 'exclusive', *meaningless* perks for signing up. You won't get any actual new, unique video content, Producer after all needs to sell those, so take these Behind the Scenes / Bloopers / Scripts that imply that Producer's output is a legitimate work of commercial art that should be taken seriously. After all, the work would have its own DVD complete with Making Of Feature if it could just get that shelf space on Walmart. *** The "All I Need Is More Money, Then I Can Do Better!" is a tired plea. Even Katelyn Brooks tried to pull that shit, and she was a hot woman who only had to smile and wink at the camera for the money to be blown on her face like a bukakke cum shot with the force of a fire hose. If you can't manage your resources with what you have now ... what implies you'll be able to do so with even more money to wastefully spend? That plea is the ultimate advertised weakness from someone competing with other Producers for limited market share. I just wish you all weren't so gullible. If I knew then what I knew now, I'd probably have called bullshit on people like Katelyn Brooks and other charlatans. |

I'm looking forward to seeing extra content, AND if that content is sub-par or it seems like a scam, then the patrons will go away, the money will dry up and Maxgrowth will get what he deserves. People deserve the benefit of the doubt, until they show they don't deserve it. I'm sorry YOU feel burned by other people, but don't take it out on me or try to make me feel bad or inferior because I choose to support something. |

Re: Maxgrowth Patreon
Who the fuck is Katelyn Brooks and how did she ruin your life so bad?
No one is being forced to patreonize this guy, I don't see what the big deal is. There are plenty of people who like his content and if more money allows him to produce more, well... kind of sounds like a win/win situation for fans. The guy actually does produce stuff so it's not like he's a scam artist. I do agree that the positive body image stuff is a joke and is pretty weak. One of the reasons I won't personally support this. |

Re: Maxgrowth Patreon
I messaged Maxgrowth about the "size acceptance" issue and he admitted that was a bit of a reach, but he had been concerned about Patreon flagging him for having content that was too "adult". He says he's going to modify the description to make it more accurate.
I'm signing off on this now, as I've already gotten way more involved than I wanted. |

I mean -- it's true that charlatans exist, but it's also true that the type of person who will be taken in by them is not the type of person who is going to listen to you. I think anyone with half a brain is going to see through the buzzwords and judge the author on his own merits, and I think that you can generally trust that *most* people will use their common sense. If the person or the reward structure or whatever is truly as bad as you say it is, then won't people just not buy in? |

Re: Maxgrowth Patreon
Did anything ever come of either of these other "pay us now, we'll give you stuff" things?
http://www.process-productions.com/f...highlight=goal or http://www.process-productions.com/f...ad.php?t=22033 The sad thing is I dropped both of those some cash and was promised "exclusive content" Haven't seen exclusive content. Haven't seen shit in fact. So now I'm weary to wary to give to cash to any of these "pay up front" things. All that being said I understand Maxgrowth's plight. You sell some digital media once or twice and it ends up on Daily Motion and you loose out. Setting up a pseudo-subscription with little bonuses will hopefully keep your media from being shared so will-nilly and also keep the money coming in...so that more content could potentially be made. Well, in a perfect world. I will admit at least Maxgrowth has a history of actually delivering content so if I had still had cash to give I'd have no problem giving. |

What are you talking about, dude? Those people advertise here for both our benefit and theirs. They are not the reason there is a lack on content around here. Lack of content is the reason for lack of content. There is not much out there going on for us if you didn't notice. BE kind of reached it's peak early in the last decade as far as content production goes. Aren't you sick of the lackluster stories, comics and photos anyways? Video is pretty much where it's at now and there is more out there every day for us, precisely because of those artists who are 'diminishing our wallets'. What exactly is it you want that you feel is being threatened by video artists or producers like MaxGrowth? |
