Skin rippage TFs - stories, pics etc

Disclaimer: This isn't the transformation type for everyone. I'm 100% sure a lot of people won't like it, and I understand and appreciate the sentiment entirely. I just remember seeing a poll many years ago where about 60% hated skin rips and 40% liked them, so I figured there's an audience here, but it's not the majority.

I think skin ripping is awesome! If done right and without heavy gore, it's very exhibitionist and incredibly intense. It can touch on many cornerstones of the TF fetish--loss of control, puberty analogues (breast expansion, getting larger and hornier), power fantasies, loss of inhibitions, freedom from humanity & human problems, and aggressive animal sexuality.

Now, let me be clear. I won't be posting freaks straight out of The Thing or a chestbursting parasite. That stuff is generically monstrous, and the skin rips in those scenarios tend to be purely body horror, designed to imply that someone is being killed or mutilated from within. They're not skin rip transformations. They're just ripping skin, and while I'm sure they're somebody's gore fetish, they're not mine.

I'm interested in skin rip TFs that are a personal transformation from woman to anthro or woman to animal. It should be like shedding a costume or unleashing an inner beast. This thread is where I'll collect old and new skin rip content, links, and sundry.

I'll kick it off with an old sequence. The source of this one is fairly obscure, and it's been reposted by various people on DA without proper sourcing. The artist was Jason Rainville. In his own words:

"And here's some preliminary work for one of the weirdest jobs ever (commissioned by the girl being depicted no less)... When it's finished it'll be 5 pages pencil and one full colour."

He was commissioned by a woman who also provided herself as the model for the character. She apparently wanted someone to draw her sexual fantasy of ripping off her own skin to become a werewolf. Hot!

The artist also provided some concept sketches for the sequence, which included some different possible steps in the TF. It's notable how the commissioner didn't want her transformation to be gory. Skin rip as a fetish seriously avoids it.















I especially love the early version of the face page. Her strong pose from behind, with genitals visible and most of the skin ripping off on its own. The alternative is great too though. A bared shewolf crotch, skin like a torn shirt, and the finale--yes! Ripping open the scalp is one of my favorite details in these types of TFs.

I'll post more content in the future. Here's hoping this start entertains a few people, or at least shows that skin rips are not all body horror.

Not a huge skin-rippage fan, but I always liked that sequence.

Personally, my biggest problem with skin rippage isn't the squick factor but the fact that it's very different from how I feel a TF should look. If a TFee is getting hairy, I feel like the hair should be growing out of her skin, not underneath it.

That said, I'm partial to the idea of skin shedding for reptilian, arthropod, or non-mammalian sci-fi/fantasy TFs. For example, I like the imagery of a character scratching an itch on her arm, scraping away dead skin and uncovering a patch of scales or exoskeleton. I don't think it's quite the same as skin rippage, but it's similar.

Here's another classic sequence of the type, and it's probably more widely known. This one was by FalyneVarger for an unknown commissioner.

The women are infected and shed their skin cocoon-style to reveal more classically designed female werewolves (no giant breasts). The commissioner requested unusual anatomical steps as well, such as the legs snapping backwards. Regardless, women became female monsters in a sexual manner, with a lot of stripping and masturbatory groping, and as one of the commenters excitedly wrote:

"This is one of the most, elegant, and beautiful things I have ever seen. This is BIRTH! This conveys purity, femininity, carnality and submission. Everything about the sexual experience that lurks within all human beings, whether they like werewolves or not. (I of course DO.)"

It was a popular sequence.

Quite right that skin-rip pics can be beautiful and sexy when done in a certain way. Done another way and you end up with 'The Thing' and 'Dopplegangar'. Interesting (if you can stomach them) but not sexy.

I'm not really sure where I stand with these types of TFs. The transformation in "Doppelganger" was one of, if not the tf that sparked my interest in the subject. On the other hand, I think the Cat People tf would have been much better if she just turned into the panther, instead of bursting out of her skin. I guess I'm indifferent to them. I would have loved to see a more detailed tf in Hemlock Grove of the girl at the end of the first season.

I'm totally with you on this stuff here. We could have gotten a better TF in Cat People but unfortunately their special effects budget came up short and they had to settle for the skin rip finale. I've heard that they had intended to do a full sequence like in AWiL (which came out the previous year and was insanely popular), and that's why it started the way it did and suddenly changed gears when the money began to run out. If they'd had the money to do a full TF it could have become a legendary scene in a well known movie instead of a bizarre scene in an obscure movie.

The TF in Cat People was good, albeit far too quick for my taste. I also like the ones in Hemlock Grove. Hemlock seems to be the best I've seen in some years.

Anyone can nitpick on details, but compared to most of the other stuff it's superior.

Check out Trick R Treat pretty AWSOME Werewolf coven transformation with Anna Paquin not much for her though Sharp teeth face stretching but the other girls YIKES! I am still rocking that boner.
