"What if..?" Fight: Bane vs the Rhino

Week Three: "The man who broke the Bat" versus... well, a common, super-powered thug. Who do you have your money on in this all-out, super street brawl?

Bane, due to the fact that he is super strong, plus also very cunning and intelligent. He's not the muscle bound oaf that a lot of non-comics (and some comics) media wants to portray him as.

Rhino, on the other hand, IS a muscle bound oaf.

Bane hands down. Rhino is, like you said, a thug. Nothing more. I'd rather see Bane v Juggernaut, honestly. Juggie may not have brains, but he doesn't exactly need them most of the time.

I was thinking of putting up Juggernaut against Bane, but that would be kinda unfair. Nuff said.

Even then Juggy would pwn. His helmet blocks psychic attacks and has to be removed first.

Bane vs Rhino.. I gotta go with Rhino. Sure they're both super strong, but Rhino is much MUCH stronger. Picking up cars/throwing them through walls strong. His suit makes him bulletproof/impervious to a lot of damage and hes got that big ass horn.

Rhino takes this, hands down. Bane has very low-level superhuman strength and endurance. The Rhino, on the other hand, has thrown down with the likes of the Hulk and survived. Bane doesn't stand a chance. Even if he's far and away smarter, he wouldn't be able to harm the Rhino through his suit, while the Rhino could break his body fairly easily.

Bane is much, much stronger? Are you kidding?

Even tho Batman is well.. Batman. Bad-ass as he is, he's only human and he's able to defeat Bane. And the only time Bane DID defeat Batman was because Batman was tired! Bane had let loose all of Arkhams prisoners, Batman spent all his time rounding em up, he comes home to find Bane in Wayne Manor! (he had figured it out!) They get into a fight but Bats is just too exhausted and he gets his back broken.

Rhino is not only super strong and invulnerable but actually has enhanced speed too (for those running charges)

It might be an interesting fight seeing how Bane is smarter.. and depending on the environment Bane might be able to use something to his advantage to maybe even win. (tricking him into running into a vat of acid or molten metal or something)

But if you put the 2 of em in a cage/arena and let em go at each other? Rhino wins.

edit: This argument is for the comic book/Batman:TAS Bane and not "The Batman" Bane whose skin color is deep red and looks to be about 12 feet tall and weighs 1500 lbs. (anyone know the intelligence level on that version?)
