Faggotry comes from people doing menial tasks until they're 'fagged' out. Meaning, that they exhaust themselves from doing redundant, repetitive, and trivial things. In colloquial usage, younger boys who act as the gofers or lackeys for their older male peers are called faggots. I hear cigarettes and firefood are also called faggots/fags, which is again derived from the exhaustive nature of the word.

Personally, it is a pretty descriptive word when used correctly. Though, like the word gay, its effectiveness is lost due to the adolescents who are prone to screech it out without any understanding of its etymology. Protests, rallies, parades, or anything else that is trivial yet physically draining are legitimate forms of faggotry.

In my experience; 'furfag' is meant to be used as a degrading term towrds those who represent the worst kind of people in the furry community, but do to the severe retardation that plagues the internet known as 14 year old boys, it's lost my meaning.

Beyond that, I wouldn't really care what people outside of a community I'm part of say about said community.

For example; I like Naruto, there I said it. When people say Narutard, it doesn't really phase me, and I use it myself against the idiot fangirls who truly represent what the word is trying to say.
