whats your favourite growth process?

My personal favorite was done a long time ago it was a growth sequence with probably 45 images in total(not sure how many [that is an estimate]). It told a story of these magical platform boots I remember it as Crysta Grows? now I'm not sure who to give credit too but from what it looks like either Lorekeep or Pickeljuice is responsible for the masterpiece. Not sure who created the mildly crudely drawn, impeccable, unimaginable masterpiece of greatness. It was hosted on the transfur site (no it wasn?t furry, sorry to the furry fans it did however start off as SW at first, though if anyone is into that) until it was taken down or lost or whatever.

The story went something like this, a girl goes shopping wants to look a little taller, or a lot (again not sure what her thoughts are). She enters to a shoe store and picks up these platform boots. gets home to her apartment and goes to bed (couple scenes of confusion whether or not she?s wearing the boots to bed or not) wakes up takes a shower and so the major growth begins she gets out of the shower and apparently her boots shrunk in the shower. A little comedic scene where you get to picture in your mind her wearing her boots in the shower(as if someone would actually do that) (no image to support it though). So she feels her dress a tightening as she tries to fix it in the doorway leading out of her apartment, as she grows she bumps her head on the door frame. Confused she then heads for the elevator, and finds someone else wearing the platform boots, she thinks in her mind {I guess I?m not the only one with these boots (or something like that)}. then in the next scene grows a bit and is wondering if the elevator went up. But the tall chick next to her is thinking {wasn?t she just shorter then me}?. Then in the next scene she?s on a train sitting down and through a few scenes where she fiddles with her now very constricting clothes and so she again bumps her head on the overhang above the seat, finally realizes what is going on (but not the cause of it yet). She stands up and her clothes rip off of her. She then needs to get down on all fours while she fills up the train car. The train finally comes to a stop and she sort of tries to climb out the side of it while telling everyone to move out of the way cause she?s still growing. She gets out and it shows a few scenes of her climbing up the stairwell to get out of the subway she finally gets out and it shows and scene of her boots beside a very small man in comparison and so I believe from here on she goes to a park shows her growing taller then a tree or something like that and she falls asleep or something. From here on the rest gets a little hazy as to what happens. She grows the length of the street and her boot has started a building cave in as she bumps her head into another building on the other end of the street and wakes up?.then realizes that her boots are growing with her and thinks that they are the root cause of her growth and tries to take them off. she finds it I little difficult to get them off, but she does. The next scene is of her at a meeting of sorts on top of a rooftop basically says she?s sorry for being late or something to that effect. Then the last scene is of her drinking milk from a tanker with someone chanting a spell or something like that.

That to me was the best growth sequence I had ever seen. This is only what I can remember of the story itself cause for me it is lost most likely never to be seen again.

I think that was one of the Crysta growth sequences...

I liked the first time Alice grew in the Disney version. I've always enjoyed the quick spurts of size-changing, and Kathryn Beaumont's yelps of surprise with each spurt were a nice touch. It's a scene you have to slow down and watch frame-by-frame to fully appreciate.

There're many types of growth out there and I like a good number of them, but my ultimate favourites are slow growth (measured out in hours or so) or occasional, once every so often spurts of a few inches to feet, usually after a funny tingling, rumble or something of the like. Anything of that nature tends to drag me right into ignoring a lot of flaws that may exist in it.

My favorite was the God Spells poser video - it's in the YouTube thread but was removed and I have not been able to find a copy of it anywhere. If someone has a copy and can post it or send it, I would greatly appreciate it.

In this video a short amazon goes to a sorceress in order to get 'bigger'. Long story short, the sorceress messes up the spell and the amazon gets bigger with each attempt to fix the 'problem'. The audio and the rhythm of the growth made it so immersive and incredible. A rare gem out there in my opinion. I only wish there was a B.E. movie of the like. ^_^

I've always been a big fan of DNApalmhead's work. I'd be hard pressed to pick out a favorite, but it'd either be his Digimon or Smash Brothers story.

well i have to give much thanks to guedez for finding it I've litterally giving up looking, its not the whole thing but not to bad... i do use Google actually for pretty much everything even accessing this forum, but I guess there are people even more savvy then i when it comes to using Google.

The Disney version of Alice is great, but some of the live action versions I've seen are nice too.

There's the Tina Majorino version, the '70s version and the recently-posted 1985 version.

"Village of the Giants" has a really good growth scene. They did the best with the effects they had available in the '60s.

Then there's the "Archie's Great Mysteries" cartoon. I LOVE that one because Veronica has a growth spurt when she's already pretty huge (I'm a big fan of Mega GTS).

Then there's the "Jackie Chan Adventures" Jade growth, and the "Dinosaucers" growth...

Out of printed form, my personal favorite is a comic posted a long time ago here called "Hand Maid May", or something like it. It has the best growth scenes I've ever seen.

The Femforce comics are also good.

On written form, I LOVE "Attack of the Giant Hannigan" and "The Eye of Atlantis".
