Venus Versus Virus

Saw this a few days ago. Its about a pair of girls who work for the "Venus Vanguard" that fight creatures called Viruses. This is the trailer for it, and it clearly shows promise of Female TF. Also one of the main heroines is capable of transforming into a Berserker, though theres no actual physical change.

The series is already out, I'm pretty sure it's only 13 episodes or so long and you can find it floating around the internet in the usual anime spots. I've only watched the first episode and it isn't incredibly interesting or anything, so I didn't watch the second.

Been reading the manga. Its a vampire-style TF, the victims become infected and become evil bloodthirsty killers preying on others. TF typically includes claws, fangs, and cross-shaped irises.

The interest in the series is one of the main characters has a berserker side (Switching from shy quiet girl to mad killer.) which often turns on her partner. My kind of thing ;-)

I like the art, though I think the goth lolita thing has become too cliched by now.

From the Trailer it seems the Especialy Goth Lolita Pirate has a splash of Kakashi in her.

A good series, but I found the TF material to be not to my satisfaction. As much as I love Anime, I find myself disappointed by their TF's more often than not. Only a bare handful of Animes ever REALLY made me go gaga over their transformation sequences, and most of those were Hentai.

It's quite a fun series, from what little I've seen of it. I think that the way the virus carriers have to killed, and then they're actually dead and not merely un-possessed, is rather sad, though. Especially in the episode above.

Yeah I would have thought the girl would be saved. But the fact she actually died is sad.
