How far will you go?
Just wondering, in terms of opinion, how far is too far for you, in terms of tf weirdness. Tf varies so much between so many different people, some people will be fine with cats and dogs, others go for snakes a spiders, still other go for mix and matches, and some others go into areas so surreal they cant even be figured out like a 4 armed 4 legged 6 breasted human taur with hands for feet and 5 eyes and... well you get the idea.
So how far do you go into the weirdness? |

It's all fair game. I have yet to see a TF in which I thought to myself: "Wow, that's a bit much."
Mind, I may have forgotten something due to how horrible it was. |

In concept, I think anything is game. It depends on how well its written or drawn though. I've seen just pretty basic TF that looked awful simply because of the way it was portrayed.

Re: How far will you go?
My line that must not be crossed is the line where the plausable ends. I'm willing to accept people turning into werewolves because, hey, we have people and we have wolves. It's not so strange to have both at the same time. I can accept someone turning into a twenty foot tall insect because, as genetically silly as it may be, you could probably build one of them.
I will not accept someone turning into a cartoon dog. That shit just doesn't happen. note for future internet archaeologists: in the event that mankind does create star ships and discovers a planet filled with bipedal cartoon animals who all speak english then let it be known that I am glad I will be dead by then. |

Re: How far will you go?
See the funny thing, this was all spurred on by the fact that I saw a tf where someones head split sideways into a mouth, kinda parasite eveish. Some people really like those tfs even though they become monsterous.

Re: How far will you go?
I'd agree that the quality or style of artwork has a lot to do with how much I like a piece. Sometimes I'll look at a picture of hypertransformation into something crazy, like having a different animal for each part of the body. That doesn't do it for me, I start thinking the artist tried too hard and overdid it. Same thing with (for example) breasts the size of Europe, penises growing out all over the body, etc. I have seen those kinds of TFs, and it just does nothing for me.

Re: How far will you go?
I side with ElastiGirl's "keep some human characteristics" view. For me, I guess that could mean as little as just a maintenance of bi-pedalism. Otherwise, it doesn't really interest me to see someone turn into any plain old animal.
Oh yeah, and I generally tend to sway towards anything that shows clothes rippage, heh...

Re: How far will you go?
I stop just short of the TF becoming unnecessarily repulsive or resembling a violent murder. Best example I can think of for ones I don't like are some of the TFs from the "Species" movies. Not all of them, but a good number of them kind of repulsed me. Come to think of it, the whole "28 Days Later"-type zombie TFs (if you could call them TFs) bother me, too. There's no beauty there, only pain.
I prefer TFs to be beautiful, sensual, and utterly overwhelming, so long as they fall short of my gag reflex. I'm not too crazy about TF's involving severed limbs, either; kind of an offshoot of the "violent murder" extreme. Other than that, the sky's the limit. I usually don't care what the person TF's into, either, so long as the sequence is fascinating and erotic. Last edited by Fred Londi; 02-03-2009 at 10:33 PM. |

![]() *cue Joker-esque laugh* Seriously, though; I wonder if this scene was edited, but that's beside the point. So far, I will gladly take any kind of sequence be it clean, graphic, or even otherworldly disturbing. I like to "test my limits" ![]() However, I WILL NOT tolerate anything that falls along the lines of generic "shape-shifting" or "poofing". If there is ANY smoke involved, it better be from a gun or a freakin' bazooka! I hope I didn't stray away from the actual topic.... |

Re: How far will you go?
Not much of a turn on if it involves things like birds, fish and insects. I prefer changes into foxes, cats, dogs, and rabbits, especially if it's a transgendered anthro.
