The term is "doujins".

By the way, Is there any Process in the comics, or are they just naturally large-breasted?

Oh god, it's Blue Eyes...

Not that the girls aren't wonderfully big-breasted, but having read translations, it is the most trite, cliche' crap you'll ever read.

If you want the Blue Eyes experience, just google search a nude of each of the girls and leave it at that. It's a terrible, terrible series and you'd be wasting your time translating them when they're already out in english elsewhere- not that you'd ever want to read them anyway.

Cool! While we're on the subject of translating stuff, I was wondering if anyone can explain what's going on in that "Ranman" manga on the process site?

Not "Ranma" it's "Ranman".

It's easy to tell what's going on by seeing the pictures, but what are they actually saying?

It's pretty funny, one of my favorite BE mangas.

(sorry for suddenly butting in...)

Just that one story, it would be cool!

You don't even have to go through all the work of pasting the translations on the manga.
A simple explaination would be good'nuf.

Thanks!

Smile Hmmmmm

I think this a stealthy way at a request. I don't think anyone on this forum is fluent in Japanese language. Be it Suti, Miracle, or myself ( having spent some time in Japan myself under the study ). ( I think I mentioned all the people that have come to mind that have dabbled in the language. ) As far as getting a translator on this forum it would be near to impossible to get someone who understands and can give you a 60% accuracy as to the meaning of certain Kanji. I only know about 700 personally and have a vauge conversational hold. What might be the wise thing to do:
1. Go find yourself a nice Kanji dictionary. There are some nice listings out there based on stroke order of the kanji from left to right. You don't even have to know hiragana to decipher basic meaning of the sentence with Kanji present. This is also a great way to learn Kanji and the Japanese language while translating it.
2. Learn the subtle nuances of the Japanese language. For example verb tenses. Armed with a basic knowledge of verb tenses of class 2 verbs can help wonders with most Japanese words, knowing the differences on the effect して(shite) has on a sentence as opposed to する(suru).
3. Learn hirgana && Katakana : It is not that hard to learn and there are just about as many characters as are in the English alphabet give or take a couple in each set (hiragana && Katakana).

What you are doing is admirable, but almost impossible. As most people do have jobs school and other pressing life issues to attend to: translating for someone, who isn't fluent, can take up to 1-2 hours per page looking up Kanji in a text book for straight up translating. If you can find someone on these here forums willing to dedicate the time, that is wonderful let me know how it turns out for you! Hell, i'll look over the translated pages and check to see if the guy who translated it did a decent job and didn't screw you around by writing whatever he thought would be nice to go into a word bubble.
This was just a heads up as to what you might come to expect as far as results go for this "Needing of help".

Just a hint of warning, if you've got all that manga I don't think that this site is particularly the best place to host it. Generally, big bust alone doesn't really quite merit a spot. There should really be some sort of process (BE, in this case) involved.

And yeah, SoylentOrange is right. Blue Eyes? I think I actually liked it better when I looked at it in Japanese and had no idea what was going on.
