Trick r' Treat now TBA

For those of you that remember a while back someone posted the trailer to a move that looked like it had some good TF content. I kept tabs on Trick r' Treat and watched as it went from October 2007 to October 2008. Now it is TBA so don't think it will come out any time soon.

Sad too, it looked like such a good film.

It also looks to have a definite female werewolf TF. If you can find the Trick or Treat Making Of book at your local Barnes and Noble, they have concept sketches and photos of transformation.

Jep, Anna Paquin doesn't do the little red riding hood act for nothing.
In fact I heard it has several female werewolf TF's. A bit of the story
happened to leak into the imdb forums...( and it sounded plausible )
BTW is the book worth a buy ? Concerning the quality of the TF pictures, i mean.

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in picking up that book if it's worth anything.

I remember this trailer, I thought it looked good, and has a good TF, but I guess it's not this year anymore or anywhere.

Aint it cool has been saying good things about the film for a while. They recently posted another article about it, with this interesting tidbit-

"On a side note, James Marsden was there, and I stood next to him the whole time, which was pretty cool, him being Cyclops and all. Also, when asked what he was currently working on, Mike Dougherty said he was working on a series for Warner Bros called "Bitches" and it's about 4 female werewolves in New York City. Brilliant! Like Sex and the City, but good."

Hmm... Plays side by side with 'True Blood'. I think it's gonna be simple morphs into 'wolves' played by Hollywood stunt dogs. As for the book Trick r' Treat, it's a pricey oversized "Coffee Table" type book, with production photos, stories and concept sketches. No actual photos of a she wolf, though one actress is shown mid transformation and the concept sketches and sculptures show the full effect. The movie seems to be made up as "stories" that happen to the individual characters sorta like 'tales from the crypt'.

now that Anna Paquin is in True Blood, a similar genre, not sure what that mean for this release. Wonder why they keep pushing it back? boooo

Re: Trick r' Treat now TBA

People are seeing the film. Apparently it was screened a few days ago. I just think they got scared of Saw and ran away from a "topical release." I don't see how a movie about Halloween will fair with a spring release...

Badly? (But going against Saw is worse!)

A Halloween-themed movie...in the spring?
Should've gone up against SAW V....at least the season would've helped with the sales.
If they're not bringing it out now, they might as well put on DVD already.
