Cops are assholes to me!

Why do I always fit some description. Its like i'm always at the wrong place with these cops. I went out tonight, on a bike mind you, to a coffee house performance. Afterward I drank with friends. Being that I was close to home and I took responsability by not driving. It was time to leave and I went my merry way. I still had a buzz. Oh but fuck that, that was just a cock tease of a buzz. That good night went to shit in 15 mindless minutes.

I strolled by a street when I noticed a truck with Heavy lights stop and watch me ride for blocks. I was incredibly suspicious at first, I shrugged it off by going home a different rout. But wouldn't you fucking know it now I turn a corner and a squad car is speeding towards me. I knew he was for me, I knew in some cosmic effect bullshit that this cop thinks I did something that some other asshole is laughing about later.

So naturally I ignore him and he yells at me. "come here" I say, "Is there something I can help you with tonight officer?" Immediately he gets pissy with me. "Yeah I need to know where your going, can I see your license."

Me: "Why do you need to see my license I'm just riding home dude."

Cop: "LISTEN, what are YOU doing riding home at 3 am?"

Me: "I'm just riding home man I live around the corner."

Cop: "Where are you coming from?"

(I said the city)

Cop: "What house did you come from then?"

(I said the house)

"OKay, (Pause) I need to see your license."

Me: "I don't understand why you need to see my license sir."

Cop: "Don't give me that additude If someone broke into your house you would want to find out who did it, right?"

Me: (Sighs) "Yes, sir, your right. (Pause) Listen sir I didn't mean to sound offensive but I just feel a little profiled right now is all."

Cop: "HEY WE'RE DOING THIS FOR THE CITY, THE NEIGHBORS PAY US. DON'T GIVE ME THAT PROFILE BULLSHIT OKAY?! If someone broke into your car you would want to find out who did it, right okay, so don't tell me that profile shit!"

Me: "Whatever man... (pause)..."Why didn't you stop that guy hes riding a bike."

Cop: "Oh we'll get to him don't worry, DON'T MAKE THIS MORE COMPLICATED, I CAN MAKE IT MORE COMPLICATED FOR YOU."

Me: "Listen dude, I can call my friend I have an ala by I can tell prove to you were I just came from man."

Cop: "Hey, your not Mr. Detective, you wanna do my job for me?"

(What the fuck is your problem? Why are you being such an asshole to me, I'm not being condenscending to you. Why are you treating me like a prick? Your a shitty suburban cop you cock sneeze!)

A moment later he hands me my license and lets me go. He was older cop, had that douche bag mustache and that fucking brow low line and was standing like he's seen some shit in his day. Like i'm his son getting in trouble...what a bastard.


Do you think this is okay, for a break in? Why couldn't he be polite about it?Just ask me a question and ask where I was at the time....like I thought they were supposed to. I was fucking Nice the whole way. I was buzzed, sorry...I drank...I'm over the age limit and basically sober anyway.

I'm sorry but you won't understand how angry this makes a person unless it happens to you, its infuriating because I look Latino...i'm now a suspect...and they have my information! Why is this okay? I should be able to fire that asshole if he works for the townsfolk or something, that would mean....He works for me too, right? They don't bust people for meth, deal with shootings or anything. They collect stolen bikes and hand tickets out, what gives?


I would have gladly complied if he was nice to me, easily. I had nothing to hide, but I have to sit there, be cursed at, yelled at and talked down to.

Some people just have a chip on their shoulder or a bug up their ass. Maybe the guy did stop you because of your ethnic appearance. There are cops who pull this shit on every young person they see out late too though. We all get stereotyped and treated unfairly because of it at some point by some asshole.

It's frustrating as shit but it has nothing to do with you. You can formally file a complaint if you really want to pursue this. Otherwise, just try to let it go. Wasting energy being pissed off isn't productive.

A couple years ago I had a... playdate with a gentleman from the States. I live on the border so getting back and forth takes no time barring customs. Anyways, on the way back, for no apparent reason, the border guards decided to search him in front of the folks in line. They ripped open a backpack full of adult toys and went through them one by one. He was sober and had nothing illegal on him nor did/does he have a criminal record. He does have long hair, a beard and tattoos though. Guess that's all they needed to violate his right to privacy.

if this happens that often to you: Get a memo-recorder. As soon as a cop stops you, record the entire conversation (making sure you stay civil and polite. Depending on the exact law of your location you might need to state all communication with you is being recorded).
Also ask for his badgenumber and police identification (which you're entitled to do).

After being harassed you got the proper person through the number and proof to support your complaint.
High chance that people will be less eager to abuse their authority when they find their job depends on it.

He seemed really pissed off at me, I was going to ask for his badge number....But the thought of provoking him further felt like it just would have worsened the evening. I just wanted to go home and sleep by that point. Some people just hate for no reason I guess. I mean if I deserved to get talked to like that then please let me know, otherwise I'm going to ask if I should pursue this. I mean, we're a small town here, it won't be hard for me to identify who the cop was. By the way on the way down the block I saw the car taped up, I know whose car it was...I just didn't think anything of it when I was heading down the block. It was my best friend I grew up with him, but I didn't mention it because I did not want to incriminate myself for something I would never even think of doing.

I grew up in the suburbs, I've lived here forever and I get harassed by the cops in my own town, its nuts.

The cops in my town would pull anyone over for no arbitrary reason, just so they can use all their tickets to show how much they worked. A friend of mine was pulled over on two occasions because the music in his car was too loud. The cop tried to get him on some b.s. about him having modified speakers, and used that as an excuse to search his car. He told the cop he had factory speakers. Cop gave him a ticket, anyway. I don't think he was ticketed the second time.

Some cops are dicks, others are just trying to do their job; even if it means giving people tickets to make it look like they were doing their job.

I look Caucasian but get random stopped once a month. I even had a cop try to convense (Spelling?) a guy who hit me that it was my fault (the guy argued back that it was his own fault). Ive seen cops pressuring restaurants (on threats to make a big fuss and search the kitchen) to be seated in a different area from the area that they specifically asked for when they made reservations (the second area did not have a table large enough for them so they had to rearrange that section.

Just as the cop departed, he is suddenly stopped by a mysterious punisher!

Cop: Freeze! I need to know where your going, can I see your license.

Punisher: I have a license alright, but you don't want to know what I'm licensed to do! Go away!

Punisher: I don't have a house! That's strike 1!

Punisher: 2! That's strike two, you ruthless monster!

Punisher: 3! Now you're gonna die!!

(The Punisher puts a death spell on the cop which causes the cop to melt rapidly)

Cop: NOOO!!! Auugggh!! YOU KILLED ME!!

(The cop is nothing more but a pool of blue liquid and a beating Heart Container)

The Punisher, showing absolutely no remorse whatsoever for murdering that Satanic Cop, simply replies, "Good!" and smiles!

MORAL OF THE STORY: Never treat a person in a city with serious disrespect (being an asshole) unless they are truly doing some wrong in terms of breaking the law. Cop Cruelty should be deemed illegal unless otherwise permitted by the Justice Force!

In fact, If I was a police chief and I had a cop do something like that to someone that innocent like Saynefox, I'd say:
