Is their anything from E3 2009 you want to see?
It's that time of the year for the gamers to take a look at their presents for this and next Christmas. Me personally; i'd like to see Nintendo actually release a "Super Mario Brothers 4"

I would be interested in a Nintendo game that uses motion plus, not NOT be another fitness or sport game. At the same time, I would like to see Nintendo show what the Wii can handle with graphics. So I suppose a Legend of Zelda that was developed for the Wii unlike the port that TP was, and incorperating Motion Plus exclusive handling. |

I wanted to see BG&E2, but apperantly Ubisoft would rather spend its time letting James Cameron shill his movie. Other than that Monkey Island 5 is basically more than I could ever have asked or wished for, so that's enough for me. Aside from that I'd like to see some more of Platinum's Infinite Space and Bioware's Dragon Age to see if they aren't as bland as their trailers make them out to be. Also I'd like to see just how many MMO conventions APB is picking up.

TRICO.
No, not Trico. TRICO. http://kotaku.com/5261810/rumor-firs...-project-trico That is all. I could honestly care less about anything else that may have a chance of being shown at the show this year. |

Re: Is their anything from E3 2009 you want to see?
Oh! I'd like to see Soul Reaver, the Lost Chapters! ^_^ Did you know that the first Soul Reaver game was cut in half?! o.O That's right, After the second confrontation with Kain there were actually 2 more boss battles and a final showdown after being forced to take Ariel's soul into the Reaver. There was an additional dungeon in the Human Citadel, and you got to fight in Turel's clan territory, before making it to Kain's Mountain Retreat. And even after finishing off Kain, you had one last mission. Kill all the vampires remaining in Nosgoth by unsealing the Silent Cathedral (the one that you fight Zephon in), and make your way to the top, and return the land to human control. It's a very different way than the Soul Reaver chapter went. The only reason all that was cut, was becuase they didn't have enought time to debug everything before the game deadline. Hacking the game disc you can find the audio for the cutscenes between Raziel and the Human Preistess and the final death of Ariel. Those who remember the PAst and Future chambers before the "final" battle with Kain at the "end" of Soul Reaver, will remember that 3 of the 6 imagews hadnt happened. They WERE future events. But because the game was cut in haev and replaced with sequals they are taken in a different light.
here's links to the site that holds all the audio, pics, and better details (view in THIS order): http://www.thelostworlds.net/SR1/The...ronoplast.html http://www.thelostworlds.net/SR1/The_Priestess.html http://www.thelostworlds.net/SR1/Turel.html http://www.thelostworlds.net/SR1/The..._of_Ariel.html http://www.thelostworlds.net/SR1/The...with_Kain.html http://www.thelostworlds.net/SR1/Ope...ing_Pipes.html

Re: Is their anything from E3 2009 you want to see?
The sequels actually contained a lot of that content. Plus, after seeing where Crystal Dynamics took the series in Defiance, I'm not sure I trust them to make good Kain games anymore. They're better off making Tomb Raiders anyways.
Oooh, speaking of, I'd love to hear about a new Tomb Raider. It's been awhile since that lacklustre map pack, and maybe now that Eidos is part of SQEX they won't have the kind of budgetary concerns that will rush and cripple the next one.

Re: Is their anything from E3 2009 you want to see?
They never did bring the Priestess around, nor did they reintroduce they Possession ability, or the Shift at Will ability. They did however introduce the elemental reaver in SR2, but they WERE gonna be in the first one as well. Instead we only got he Fire Reaver.
Oh and they changed the ending in more ways than one. We also never got to see Turel's territory, or the rest of the Human Citadel, or the rest of the Silenced Cathedral! >.< I loved the first game because it wasn't jsut a hack and slash like Defiance was. It had story, it have deep characters, it had a fully explorable world that allowed you to move further and further in it as you gain abilities. It was awesome! ^_^

A really good, original IP. Sequels are nice and all, but something truly make me stop and say wow.

Looks like Nintendo will be revealing a game called "Super Mario Bros Wii". The text which is semi-seen through the curtain resembles a retro style and it's likely it is a revival of some sort.
