I dunno, I picked up that it was a sequence pretty quick.
I think the issue is that in the first scene she's looking straight ahead, but in the second scene she's looking down and looks shocked (vs. smiling in the first scene). What I think might've made it confusing is that even though her head is tipping downward her hair doesn't appear to have moved, giving her the appearance of a larger forehead. That combined with the change of expression is probably enough to throw people off. Regardless, I like your style and overall it looks very good. It looks like you've got a better handle on drawing the girl's body & overall form as opposed to her face. Her figure is very well drawn in both frames. I don't usually type this much, but I was hoping to offer some helpful constructive criticism. |
