I have been in contact with him for a while. Talked comic trivia, gave opinions on some of what he's wrote, lead him to the live action Count Chocula movie, the whole nine yards. But as of a month before the start of Convention season, no replies. Then he announces GL: Knights.

Seriously, what the fuck? Especially considering I told him I would like to someday write for DC comics!

But if you ever look at DC, Marvel and Image's submission policies they say quiet clearly that they may already have that idea in the works and needn't pay for your idea. I've heard it happens more with Image and Marvel than DC, but I suppose anything is possible. Do you have documentation of your idea, a text file with the original creation date? You could possibly try taking legal action, though with Warner Brothers deep pockets you'd probably get no where.

IDk dude. I mean its a screen name for a forum/other sites. Yeah you may have created the name but I don't really know if you're able to get anything off of it. And maybe you just made this thread to blow off steam and aren't that angry about it. I can't say for sure.

Edit: I looked at the article. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. I'm not sure if they copied your name. It looks like something they came up with on they're own. I'm just saying its probably a coincidence. I had an idea for an ed edd n eddy movie where rolf moved back home and they had to find eddy's brother to help get rolf back. Then about a year later a very similar movie popped up. This kind of stuff happens when you write. You think you're original and you come to find out someone has something similar.
