[Sharing] What's the best AP/AR sequence you've seen until now?
Hi guys
![]() ![]() ![]() The rules are simple: 1. Write a simple sentence about AP/AR sequences you honestly think is the best you've ever seen. 2. Make sure you clarify the name of the character that goes through the age TF and the name of the show it's from. 3. (Optional) If possible, attach an image of the age TF or write down a link where we can actually find it. 4. (Optional) If you want, you can also write short honest reasons why you think yours is the best. 5. Yes, it can be contents that have already been posted in the forum before, for this thread is not for posting new stuffs. 6. It can be from anything. Mangas, Anime, Movies, Cartoons, TV shows, and more. You name it! 7. If somebody has already wrote about your best AP/AR sequence, then you can quote it and add your reasons why you think so as well. 7. Lastly, but not least, don't be afraid to share what you love. We all love what you love in this forum ![]() My example: Hayate's AP transformation into book of darkness in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's Reasons: -The TF sequence feels realistic as she seems to be in pain while growing up. -Forced growth -Nudity -Full body angle -I like the body poses she makes during the sequence. -Triggered by body possession

Squirt by Bojay and Dreamtales. It's around. (not sure if I'm allowed to link to it or not). I enjoyed it for the nudity and the mental changes/role-swapping that takes place in the sequence.
Also really good is the milk-induced age progression sequence from ABC Comics (again Dreamtales and Bojay) and the final scene from Paprika http://www.dreamtalescomics.com/Blog/2011/abc-comics/ http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x21...?search_algo=2

My favorite will always be the Magic Dice Game by Bojay. Loved the story and the variety of AR situations, not to mention a pretty hot striptease. The fact that it also included nudity (before it apparently became an issue) gave it a sense of realism, instead of the whole clothing TF that seems to happen more often. I'd like to think that it was from his golden age, as a comic like this one has never been done again.

Wow! While I've known several works of Dreamtales, I don't think I've seen any of Bojay's until now. I just read his works both of you mentioned, and they all look amazing. I especially liked Squirt the most^^

^ The problem with Bojay in my honest opinion are the girls almost look the same! Only the hair design/color differ. I much prefer the drawing of Palcomix.
BT -> I also like the AP/IB sequence of Karinka from Steel Angel Kurumi.

Really ? Bojay's artwork is way much detailled, with a clear attention to all the slight face features of the different ages. With Palcomix, you often can't tell if the girl is eight, ten or twelve. And the flashy filling up colors don't help, added up with the problem Shrinkmaster22 mention above.

^ To each his/her own I guess...I just prefer Palcomix's anime-esque style better. Plus I'm not into the ages you mentioned anyway...

Re: [Sharing] What's the best AP/AR sequence you've seen until now?
It's not for the end result, it's for the process. The character being thrown through a puberty with tenfold speed or in reverse. If the artist can't make steps outside of kid/teen/adult, it lose something.
