Red face It's a Comic!

So you know how you can start doing a thing and feel great about it, and the farther you get, the less happy you are with it? Yeah, that's what happened here. But it's better than most of the stuff I've tried to draw lately, and it's content, so I guess it can't hurt to leave it here. This is my first time drawing actual process, so I was unsure of how to depict growth in the middle there (as opposed to Casey just moving closer toward the camera), so yeah.

Enjoy this comic. I'll post a colored version in a moment (as soon as I've colored it) but as all I have on hand are colored pencils, it may actually ruin the comic. We'll see how that goes.

EDIT: A wild Page 3 appears! What do you do?

Hahahahahahaha!
NICE!! Excellent depictions of growth, cute funny characters, and smooth dialog. Mathematically that adds up to one well done comic. Thank you good sir for posting!

Aw, this looked like it was going well. Shame you're not intending to continue it.

To be honest, I didn't expect it to go over as well as it did. That's the only reason I ended up stopping where I did.

I definitely wouldn't be against doing more; my only question is whether you guys think it's worth it to do color again, seeing as it didn't turn out so well. Or hey, if you have any suggestions as to how to get color not to look so terrible, I'm all ears.

Re: It's a Comic!

Eh, I would say do it all without color. Then color it later. You can color it digitally with many a program. Or just let someone who's talents you enjoy do it for you.

It looks like a good start to something that could be awesome. So keep working on it and to hell what anyone else thinks. You are the creator and the vision is yours. You don't need our approval. >.>;

You should keep working on the colors if you're not satisfied. There are some on this forum that take lineart and color it for you as well if you'd prefer to do more process work just b&w.
