Beach Blanket Beauties (Suzy & Marilyn AR/AP Comic)
A Suzy and Marilyn AR comic by Palcomix! The artist did a really great job on this one, and perfectly captures the excitement and trepidation of two ladies slowly getting younger. The comic is roughly based on my AR story of the same name.
Plot Summary: Mandy, a cute adolescent, tries out her dad?s youth ray on Suzy and Marilyn. The two ladies? plans to find boyfriends at the beach get frustrated as they slowly regress to teenagers, adolescents and below. Meanwhile that little brat Mandy has big plans of her own! ?Beach Blanket Beauties? has 29 color pages and costs $9. You can get more info and buy the comic Here: http://www.dreamtalescomics.com/Blog/2011/beach/ Note: As an aside, I just want to say that the artwork on this comic is really amazing ? it?s the best artwork that Palcomix has done on any of my comics, period. What they told me was that the (unnamed) artist who does the work also did the inking on this. He?s done his own inking before, but the style is much more detailed on ?Beach Blanket? and as a result the expressions are incredible. You can see it in the sample pics. Also, apologies for the $9 price tag, but Palcomix has raised their fees 20%, so I need to recoup my costs. It?s still the same cost on a per-page basis as my other comics like ?Eenie Meanie Marilyn?. |

Oh, man!
This is easily my favorite comic from you guys and easily worth $9! Especially considering a vid I bought from Taylor-Made-Clips yesterday was up to $17... Regardless, good work (your writing and Palcomix' art) on this one! Glad to get away from the same two characters! |

Very good indeed! The artwork was superb and the story too is very nice!
Well, cause I'm more into AP, I would have loved a slower Age-progression (like the very good AR), though. But I guess that's a minor issue, since there wil be an AP-Comic. Sry to repeat myself, but I really can't wait: Is there a release date? ^^ |

Quality preview.
But I do second Kastrogos' sentiments. The AP only comic likely will be my first purchase from you ![]()

Regarding the "upcoming AP comic", I don't want this to get misunderstood - it's a 9 page short story within a longer 30 page comic by Bojay. The comic is sort of based on the old R Crumb underground comics of the 1960's. The 9 page story is AP only, but the rest of the comic has AR and AP combined, plus some other stuff. I'm hoping to get it out in July or so. In between I'll be releasing the new Mega Marilyn story which has lots pf growing and shrinking, for those of you into that. Re: Beach Blanket Beauties (Suzy & Marilyn AR/AP Comic)
The drawing of this work is fantastic. It is even more detailed than in the previous comics which had here and there some minor flaws.
Palcomics raise in price seems also to made a raise in quality. You just have to love these poses and face expressions. I also like the story how the women become bit for bit more younger. Although I've missed the rivalry between Suzy and Marilyn or some scenes where they try to convince that they are actual adults. But I guess this would have explode the amount of pages and the price for the comic of course. However, this comic is every cent worth and seeing only Marilyn getting younger makes it totally worth it. The ending shouts for a sequel. (I imagine it in my head how this one might continue.) Didn't Bojay do a version of this a long time ago? It seems familiar.
