BE in Megatokyo, of all places...

http://www.megatokyo.com/index.php?strip_id=880

In the webcomic Megatkyo, Ping is a PS2 accessory who's supposed to work with dating sim games like tokemeki memorial, etc., and in monday's episode she's apparently grown too big for her uniform for reasons as yet unknown.

Very strange, but it counts...

For comparison, Ping's introduction- she's nearly flat, flatter than I remember:

Maybe the artist had been subtly busting her up for a while and only now pointed it out?

This merits investigation.

I did cruise the forums there for about 5 minutes while I could before work, mostly to gauge reader reaction. For the most part, it seemed curious and positive, with the to-be-expected negative whiners.

I have been reading this comic since it began, and I always love the horrible ammounts of DRAMA that unfolds in it. I love her reaction to it, she doesn't understand whats going on and looks totally distressed, but because she doesn't know why she doesn't have he surprised look that would normally happen. I loved it so much, I just had to try my hand at sketching it.

[edit]Oh heck, here's another one from when she just wakes up just for fun. [/edit]

I think I finally figured out what MEgatokyo's deal is after seeing one of the books.

Megatokyo is not supposed to be a webcomic. The artist just isn't good enough to keep a three-times-a-week schedule. All the whining, all the filler, it's really just not a good webcomic. It is a good manga, however, read cover to cover in one sitting. Basically, the webcomic is nothing more than one big WIP sketch, that we all get to see while he tries to finish the books.

Pretty much, Megatokyo has sort of evolved beyond being a webcomic when the co-creator left and it became drama central.

Comment on the actual page, methinks that Prio has been playing more "adult" dating sim game. After all, they certainly would be easier to get over that
