Feedback for Fairy Tale series

I saw recently Fairy Tale 4 has been published at BE Story Club, so I figured it might be a good time to get some feedback. The first issue was not my work but 2, 3, and 4 have been. Do people like where the story is going, have I destroyed a classic, do people still subscribe to bestoryclub? My run on the story is complete for now, so suggestions of where you'd like the story to go won't do much good ha ha. Cheers.

I subscribe to the BE Story Club once a year, grab new material and then let my account run out. For the most part the stories aren't ever really enough to keep my attention, though to be honest I'm looking for the comics, not the text. I hate reading PDFs.

To be honest, they're okay. I'm mostly indifferent toward the direction you're taking. If anything, I'm glad that someone is continuing this series beyond how it started. Now, I wish there were more Stranger than Fiction chapters (*wink-wink, nudge-nudge*).

Personally, I'd rather see continuations of comics that are still in a "to be continued..." situation, rather than something like "Stranger Than Fiction," which did come to an end.

My vote would be for "Collider," which had an oh-so-tantalizing first installment, but there are others that have been long moribund -- "Island of Dreams," "Brand New U," "The BE Project" to name a few.

I wouldn't complain if a sequel came around! That was one of the truly fantastic pieces to come out of the story club.

Re: Feedback for Fairy Tale series

1 was great, 2 and 3 were good, 4 seems kind of like a new story starting up which doesn't lend itself well to the story club, not that it was bad, but hard to get into given how far between updates are, it wasn't bad in and of itself just short and given that you're basically starting a new story or chapter on top of an already existing one needed to be longer. This isn't limitted to this series however it happens in most of the comics one of my major gripes of the story club is that they start comics and don't usually finish them and/or the continuations are scattered. All in all, a pretty good series though I like the story and the artwork.

Post Re: Feedback for Fairy Tale series

Lets see...I've read 1, 2 and 3 but not 4.

Overall, the artwork and overall "art direction" is great. The characters are attractive, relatable and diverse and the story is interesting

However, the one MAJOR complaint, that I have, with 99% of the BE Story Club Comic stories is the lack of actual visual Breast Expansion in them.

For instance,
Fairy Tale 2 has a 1 frame "instant" BE scene on Page 1. Another "instant" BE, where the girl turns around and suddenly has huge breasts, on page 2. Kinda cool and it counts as BE - but its kind of a cheap shot.

Anyways, so on page 4 the two grils are fooling around, and within one frame go from small A cup breasts to like GG cup. 1 FRAME! There's no straining shirts, tank-tops or bras, no enticing cleavage that developers or emotion/arousal on the girls' faces while their breasts (erogenous zones) "magically" become bigger. It's just kinda, *poof* big and then *poof* really big, now lets go down on each other.

I would have appreciated even just a little more emphases on the "expansion" (in real time If you will). Start at A cup, have a frame from A to d, then another frame from D to GG -as simple as that!

Fairy Tale 3 has , what like 3 or 4 frames of breast expansion split up between a dream-scape and reality? (BTW, that is an awesome concept- girl dreams that her breasts are getting larger on one side of the page and on the otherside is her in bed as her breasts mimic their size in the dream) . In the dream sequence the blond quickly goes from like a B cup to a G cup, and then in the next frame she's a HH. The artwork is great! But again, only like three frames of actual BE!

Then the rest of the comic just becomes girls who've experienced BE off screen, aka a comic about girls with very large breasts

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy girls with large breasts but I can get comics like that anywhere, I would buy a membership at the BE Story Club because the comics contain lots of BE and ,by proxy, large breasts.

I always enjoy Bust Artist's comics because he takes time to show a lot of breasts expanding. In his comic Grow 4: Growing Desires (pt.1) I counted 14 specific breast expansion frames (granted the girl's breasts do get a bit larger than the girls' in Fairy Tale.) Regardless, that's 14 individual jumps from one size to a larger breast size.

So anyways, I hope that didn't sound like a whiny rant. The suggestions I made I would suggest to pretty much all of the BE comics on BEstoryclub.

I do very much appreciate your artist talent! Cheers!

Yeah, this is definitely something I've been frustrated with as far as the releasing and order of comics. But I can't hog all the spot light! Chapter 4 might feel like it's a new story, but it is just another piece of the puzzle. My main focus was tying the story back into the first chapter and what implications it might have in the human world.

Not whining at all, I really wish I had reached out to the community sooner about this now. As some of the other folks mentioned, Chapter 4 feels a bit rushed. The advantage Bust Artist has over bestoryclub is two fold 1. to the best of my knowledge BustArtist writes and illustrates all of the work from the site. 2. BustArtists' comics aren't bound by 10 page limit. The artist for bestoryclub and giantessclub is truly a godsend. It has been an honor to see my scripts come to life in such talented hands, nevertheless, there's bound to be something lost in translation. Sometimes things feel a bit more cluttered, rushed or poofy. Plenty of that falls on me not being more anally precise. With that said, I have 40-50 potential panels of breast expansion, so yeah ha ha. I can say that, while I haven't seen it yet, chapter 5 takes a step back from storytelling (while continuing to progress the plot) and really just focuses on breast expansion. So whenever that comes out in the next two years, hopefully it'll be a better BE/panel ratio. Much appreciated MTMTE.

"Brand New U" was always meant to be the length it is, and I don't plan on continuing it. Just FYI.

Thanks, and now that I take a longer look at it, I agree that it doesn't need any continuation. I guess we can blame the BESC for slapping a "to be continued..." page onto the end of Part 2.

Yeah. And amusingly, someone over there seemed inclined to think that I might be continuing it at some point.

In full honesty, I'm not too eager to continue it. One of the requirements for a submission to the BESC or the Giantess Club is including sex scenes and the like, so I'm turned off of the idea of doing more submissions, at least for now. My job is eating up a lot of my time anyway, so I don't really have the time anyway. Nothing wrong with that, I hope.
