Ok so grad school

Got an offer for a master's program in sustainable development at my school. I'm thinking of taking it, my current degree totally helps people with telling them I can't lower their cable bill. (Its environmental policy and another one in Political science) I dunno, should probably volunteer or something too and be less shy and get to know people.

However I've also thought of getting a teaching license and maybe teach civics or something.

If you're ambivalent about graduate education, I'd suggest thinking more deeply about it. A Master's degree is essentially a specialization, so you should be dedicated to the discipline in which you will be studying. This becomes even more important at the doctoral level, where you're going to be expected to have a research agenda that the faculty can hopefully get behind. Are they offering an assistantship as well?

I agree with Bozo, it has to be a cost vs value decision. With the way things stand now, stats are showing earnings are not matching up to education right now, but later, who knows...

You mentioned teaching, and a Masters is needed unless you're talking teaching collage classes, in which case then you might need a higher degree as in PhD.

I say flip a coin to decide.

A Master's will let you be an adjunct for 100-level summer classes and the like...full of filthy non-majors who may kill your spirit. You could also go to community colleges with it I think, also full of equally filthy students. I know, I used to be one.
