Just curious on this one... as a matter of policy, how do we handle videos that - for whatever reason - are no longer available for purchase from the original artist, or anyone else?

thats a good question ,y guess would be to scour the web but I only seen a handful of her stuff online and the one in the gif is not one of them

I kinda wish there was a way we could ethically share stuff if they haven't made it available for several years, sort of like a statue of limitations. Don't want to detract from the artists getting paid of course, just if it's not available in any form anymore, would be nice if it weren't simply lost to time.

This is something that is mostly accepted/overlooked with out of print video games, but not so much for other media.

With as long as it's been since she did anything on the internet I want to say her vids are up for grabs now. But I don't know the legality of it myself.

I have that video on my hard drive from when I was a member of that site, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to share it. Until I get official word, I'll play it safe and not post it.

You have to ask the creator of the product because it was a production item. ONLY if the original producer says "yes" can it be distributed. Otherwise it's against your purchase agreement.

I would advise against linking to any Bambi Blaze videos or whatnot, she agressivly defends her work. I got my old youtube channel closed by her, i'd had a few sanctions about posting copyrighted work before, but I posted a video i'd found before I even knew who Bambi was. After my channel was closed, I emailed her saying "Why didn't you just message me, demanding that I took the video down, i've lost 24 legit videos now." and the twat didn't even bother replying. Thus my hatred for her and I found that i'm not alone, as she's surposed to be a right nasty piece of work, kind of like Hitler with inflatable breasts...in that case, she'd be a Nazi (Natsi) piece of work.

Thing is, I could have understood her getting upset, but the video I posted was piss poor.

The problem is that now she's fallen off the world, so how do we handle it? I too think that her stuff, while not always perfect, was good enough that it's sad that it's lost to time. I mean, seriously, some of her stuff was the first BE stuff catered to BE fans made. She had some good ideas and her videos were different than the way her competition did them, and made a great balance to all the videos.
