Howling Mad Productions archive.org
As some people may know the original page for Howling Mad Productions (great site IMO for female transformation audio stories) went down some time ago and the new one does not yet have all the old content on it. I just a moment ago found that the archived site has all the old stories still downloadable. So if you're interested you might want to go to http://web.archive.org/web/200704020...ioFiction.html before they disappear as archived pages are known to do.

Interesting.
Is there text for these stories? I can read quicker than listening and being half deaf makes it difficult for these mp3s. |

Re: Howling Mad Productions archive.org
Small suggestion, if I may...
Find voice actors. That txt to audio translator is infuriating and totally detracts from the story. I find myself repeating the lines, with appropriate tone and pacing, just to keep from getting annoyed. Everything *heavy pause* seems to be told from the perpsective of *elongated pause* thestrangestcomputer *pause* chick ever. Other than that? These are wonderfully crafted stories which really deserve another chance at life. If you're interested in working on these more, or perhaps turning this into a podcast for TF fans, please let me know. ^_^ |

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/latenightsaudio/files/ I reformatted some of my older stories here http://datalossfs.deviantart.com/gallery/#Stories As for voice actors when I started doing this years ago, the first ever audio file I did for Late Nights was done via my DJ Gear onto tape and then into my old PC at the time and sounded pretty bad, I'd just come out of college with no money and no proper equipment but I will one day return to this first audio story and remaster it and bring it into the digital age but hell a podcast sounds a great idea... |

need them. I'd suggest reading the script yourself, inserting all the proper emotions, tones etc missing from the text to speech engine lady. Then run that audio file through a voice morpher to feminize your voice. |

Re: Howling Mad Productions archive.org
Just going on record as saying I like the text to speech engine. Some of the voices you've used to make these are better than others, but I'd rather listen to the speech engine than a digitally morphed voice (as suggested above).

Newer voices are being released on the consumer level all the time and they are improving...

Re: Howling Mad Productions archive.org
They still lack the emotional resonance of a live performance by a REAL human being. And nevermind the whole voice modulation crap, we can get people who ACTUALLY ARE female for the female parts.

Re: Howling Mad Productions archive.org
Agreed, that is still 3 years + off on consumer level voices, although some of the high end stuff I heard for telephone switchboard automation is really good, there is a scottish female voice doing the rounds that is very real sounding with the correct nuances but the price tag is more than paying a voice over artist a decent wage for their work. Anyhow I seem to write and munip and render images more these days than record audio...
