Yeah there are a few older games that feature AP. I forget the name, but there is a game where you play as a girl in a burning school and you shoot aliens or something. But basically after each zone, she grows up a little. There is a clone of this game featuring Lum.

And don't forget about Gunbird. Thats an always classic AP sequence.

Actually, speaking of old MSX games that have AP, I hear that the origional Madou Monogatari starred Arle when she was in Kindergarten and some versions of it feature an animation at the end of her growing up into a teen.

I'd kill for an ani-gif of THAT!

Yup. I've actually played that game on emulators, but I can't find one that doesn't screw up the level graphics. It's called "Urusei Yatsora: Wedding Bells For Lum."
