Interesting premise, and nice little nod to Ginger Snaps. Even if the process in this film isn't great, it could still be a fun watch.

I could only hope its even remotely in the same league as When Animals Dream. Fetish-content a side the film is remarkably good for a Werewolf film and up there with Ginger Snaps for writing quality in a genre film.

The TF/werewolf aspect is light (though there are some great touches) but thats partly because its trying to be realistic.and uses the genre the same way Let the Right One In did.

This film looks like it has potential, as most swedish films do but I wouldnt hold out hope for detailed full wolfbeast transformations. There aren't any major special effects studios that I am aware of that work with the swedish cinema. So the special effects are likely in-house so will be light CG and light makeup and more camera tricks and implied if it follows typical.

Don't worry, you just missed some nails growing. And as others have commented, it would be probably all you will get in the final product . I mean, you'll get plenty of "werewolf version of let the right one in".

Exclamation Re: Lycanthropy (Swedish trailer)

As of the moment, the Vimeo link still requires a password in order to view it. Hence the page title, "Private Video".

If someone has the password, please provide it or defunct the privacy issue. If no one has it, but someone has a copy of the vid, could it be posted here please? Thank you. Content provided doesn't do a member's viewing interest much good if everyone just hits the brick wall with broken links, or the like.

When this was posted, the page title wasn't, "Private Video". The video was public, then later made private, so no one thought to record anything, because they had no reason to believe it would be made private. In addition, as someone mentioned above, there wasn't much of anything process-wise in the trailer anyway, it's merely just a project to keep on the radar screen. So, how about you unwedge that stick from your ass, and cut it with the smart-assery?

On topic, the description said the video would "hopefully" be made. Methinks they're still in a position of acquiring resources (namely money) to get the ball rolling on this. I expect it to be a while if we see anything come of this, and wouldn't be surprised if this either lands in development hell, or gets made with sadly little in the way of process. Only time will tell.

There is no stick wedged up my ass. Thank you very much. I was just being direct, as in to-the-point. I thoroughly read every post and was still curious to see the video clip myself, posted my post, then went about my business.

If no one could help the privacy issue or had a copy, then I aSSumed we would all wait until further notice.
