As a fellow BE fan as well as someone who has almost no idea on how to accurately measure bust size, I had hoped to find a chart that lists cup size in letters and inches with a sample picture next to it. If someone has made a chart like this, please tell me where to acquire it.

That chart seems a little confusing. Maybe there were originally instructions along with it.
Okay, for a bra size, you have to measure the woman at the fullest part of the breasts, and then under the breasts along the rib cage. The rib cage measure is the number part of the bra size (generally between 32"-38"), the letter or cup size is how more many inches her bust is larger than her rib cage. So a 34DD or 36KK would make sense, but a 56KK would not. |

It might just be here in the UK, but the band size you add 4 to if it is even, 5 if it is odd. So my partner, who measures 28" round the rib cage, wears a 32" band. Then, you compare the 'fuller' measurement to that, so at 34" that makes my partner a 32B.
I know that's how it works here, if you don't add 4/5 in the US then American women are a lot burlier than I thought! There are various sites advertising breast augmentation that would have reasonable examples, and 'lads mags' websites might help you get a feel for what different sizes look like- note that a decent bra can make the world of difference! I think if you browse through the forum there are links to 'interactive' implant websites. |

I thought you had to measure the fullest part around the breasts and body, then under the breasts around the rib cage then you took the difference to find the size.

That's the pixelust size chart, not a real one. DDD isn't larger than, say, J. DDD = EE = F, roughly. They're not exactly the same, per say, but they're generally accepted as close.

The perfect chart
I think this portrays things accurately...I'm not too sure of the artist because I just happened to stumble upon it a few minutes ago but maybe someone can help me out. I don't think Innocent-Writer has anything to do with this picture.

HAH! The Bleach chart jogged my memory.
Danbooru and its wonderful Bust Chart tag are gone, but if you look at the bottom of the first page, Mr. MegaUpload link is probably still good. Maybe you'll find something useful in there. |
