I used a Wacom pad, but I like the term "paint" over "color" for an image like that, since nothing of the original image remains (no sketch or ink lines or anything)

Heya Resiz3d,
I've been away a while, but thought i would just post to say that i love your work ^_^ keep it up! The sketches have a lot of energy in them, which I think helps the process. I am a fan of line art though, which might make me biased O_o |
