Quick question. I found a torrent for it, left my computer on for a few days to download it at 4kb/s... anyways, I open the .rar folder, and I only see a .iso and a .mds file. What do I do with these?

Well, if I was feeling as unforgiving as normal as I'd say "Google it and don't expect us to spoon feed you."
But... .iso and .mds are disk images. You can either burn them onto a CD/DVD or mount them on simulated drives with something like Daemon tools or Alcohol 120%. Either of those will give you a facsimile of an actual game disk which you can use to install and play the game. Although, some methods of copy protection will recognise a copy created in this manner. |

I could swear
I could swear there was another forum post about this very game... I would have said it was this post as the dates seem to go back to 2005, but I cannot find my post amongst the ones existing... If not posting in this thread where the hell did I post? ; . ;

Then you mount the image when it's all done. You can use Daemon tools for that |

All you have to do is edit the first post by putting the second post in the first then you can delete the 2nd and third. Its easy.

Most people are afraid of doing things like that. They're worried that if they click anything outside of their experience, it'll blow things up or they'll get in over their head. It makes life fun.

What I don't get is how people manage to double-post in the first place.

Theoretically, the "1 post per 30 secs" rule should catch it, but it seems to be unreliable. Incidentally, a .iso file is a cd or dvd image. The .mds file contains additional (unneeded, but it makes things happen faster) information for the software you use to either burn the image, or mount it to a virtual drive. *Edit* Hey, while i was posting this, the forum b0rked, and i would up accidentally double posting! The 30 sec rule caught it though. Last edited by Fake_Name; 10-11-2006 at 09:23 PM. |
