The only characters from Diablo that turned out all right are supposedly the heroes from 2. You forgot the fact that human Tyrael looks exactly like the Paladin from D2 and that the Necromancer from D2 is alive and well, he is just chilling in another dimension ^^. But yeah as far as evil conversion goes Diablo 3 is awful compared to the whole descent into madness from D2.

That is great. As well as uglification, it also has mental corruption. She becomes as stupid, vicious and greedy as her sisters.

I enjoy some conversion where the change isn't necessarily into black and white evil, but rather into a less virtuous, more base person.
