One of my favorite manga ever. 3x3 Eyes has a few tfs in it. There's also a little girl later in the series who tfs into a more mature and monster version of herself.

You know, I swear I remember seeing another TF like this in an anime called Wicked City or something years ago, tentacles bursting from the skin, etc., but I've never been able to find it again...

I remember wicked city. I put a clip of some girl who got corrupted by the demons on dailymotion. From what I recall there was no other scene involving monster TFs but I can gladly check for you again.
