The frame where she's sitting on the washer is the best, she just has that blissful look on her face.

o_O; OH MY GIDDY AUNT!!! MemoPad, once again you did an amazing job with one my characters. What you did with Geil-Ling. Couldn't believe so many scenes in one pic. I especially love the laundry scene and of her in action. Well done on redoing her martial art clothes but her in casual clothes was just awesome. Her expressions in the laundry scene and in her casual clothes were priceless. Nice touch on the scars too. They definitely show how hard she trains. Overall, everything was perfect in the pic. Thank you for drawing her. Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks, glad y'all liked it!
I take it that my shading experiment was a success. I forgot where I got the reference from, I've seen somewhere before where a chick was having "fun" with herself by sitting on a laundry machine in action. 'Figured it would be kinda funny to draw it. Thanks again guys! Last edited by Memo Pad; 04-14-2007 at 10:50 PM. |

Though I'm not generally an Amazon guy, I DO find that impressive. I especially love the random dog you threw in there. XD

Haha, is that drunken boxing in the lower-left panel? Methinks she'd have a hard time keeping her center...
Damn, though, between you, Jacques, Suti, etc. it's like the new generation of superb BE artists is finding its genesis right here on these forums... |

There's an actual "drunken" style of fighting that's made to keep your movements as unpredictable as possible for your opponent.

Yeah, but as unpredictable as you're supposed to seem to your enemy, *Real* drunken boxing depends on the boxer themselves never losing their center of balance- their ability to shift and sway that center at will is what gives them their advantage.
I was insinuating that given Gei Ling's propensity to become seriously top-heavy ina short amount of time would hinder such control. So nyeah! ;p |

Ah, okay, that clarifies things. And yes, that control over their center of balance is part of what makes them unpredictable: you can't tell what's an opening for an attack.
