TF in Buffy Comic Issue 16

I hope everyone has seen in the latest Buffy comics that Dawn was originally transformed into a giantess because of a mystical liasion she had in college. Well, it looks like giantess was just the first step (possibly of three). The next phase has her joining the horsey set. Yummy.

Attached is an alternate cover for issue 18, so we have at least three issues.

One page pre-transform, one full page post transform (no process, sorry), and a couple more pages exposition later on in the book. Since the book is just on sale now, I'm not going to post anything but the preview image. I'm sure you can find it if you look hard enough though.

That would be Willow's spirit guide Alumyn. The two met when Willow was on a journey of discovery, and she led Willow around the spirit world. What she was actually trying to do was get Willow killed so that she could eat her divine soul, which is exactly the reason Willow chose the snake as her spirit guide. She figured a guide that was trying to eat her would keep her on her toes, and be a better teacher.

She died when Buffy destroyed magic at the end of Season 8, and Willow took it pretty hard. Willow's been trying to restore magic since then, and a new Willow miniseries just started last month, so she might make a return.

From the same Willow one shot I'm also tossing in a shot of the collected goddesses of earth. If you like snake women the Willow one-shot is probably worth picking up because Alumyn is in a lot of it. She also makes occasional cameos throughout season 8.

On a related subject there was a three issue Oz miniseries back in 2001 that told the story of how Oz went searching in Tibet for a way to control his werewolf side. There he met Jinan and her family; all of them demons living a peaceful life. Jinan chooses to travel with Oz on his quest. After Oz finds the monastery he was searching for, and ousts the demons who had set up shop, he stays long enough to learn meditation and then leaves. Jinan opts to stay behind. Oz later showed up, now living in another part of Tibet, in Season 8, but so far Jinan's been a no-show.
